I am repeating the reversal strategy, this time, not reversing auto selections that have reached their ADR (am using Jibala's adjusting Red/Grn Rgh/Lgh Lines Indy)
but
this time, manually selected ANY pair (regardless of Strength) as long as they had reached their ADR; regardless of when.

9 Entries @ 12:30 EST (GMT 16:30) reversed AWAY from whichever ADR line was hit

No SL/No TP.... Will let run and exit @ Tokyo minus 1H (GMT 22:00).... pre NZD, AUD, JPY 'news'
and report findings/results.

FOMC still 30min away.... might screw everything up

UPDATE: Survived FOMC .... most 'activity' came @ FOMC + 5min - 10min.
Remains positive... all but 1 steady Green... Entry + 2hrs 10min
The 'one' still Red is GBPUSD and was FURTHEST away from ADR HIGH at time of entry.

Open trade based on ADR reached only is not good enough!
Mostly they go against the trend. And you never know how far they can go.
Simply answer: If this simply strategy is good enough and profit able, there were many EA coded in FF .

Understand/Agree 'too simple' but wanting to establish ADR 'zone' probabilities AT THIS 'quiet' MARKET TIME first...
then
WE have an EA that is NOT like the 'others' by using absolute strength + relative strength for auto entries.
Who (really) knows if THESE parameters + ADR + Session Time can produce probable results?
I'm going to give it a shot.

UPDATE:
My 'concept' would be a 'time specific' reversal strategy post NYC ONLY all qualifying parameters including time internally set; auto entries/auto exits

Are you adding back direction candles for the H1, H4,D1 ? Or does the Maria mod do away with the necessity?

If you can provide a visual aid to show ADR exhaustion similar to one CJA has used for one of his indicators for a pairs in the same row, this can be a good for manual traders . I am attaching a graphic of CJA indicator.
I have noticed only selected currency pairs operate one by one and those active traders can be identified through change of color then excellent. If some kind of alert is posted on which pairs are now moving.

May I request all the coders here to create another make an independent indicator just focussing on currency strength, ADR exhaustion and identification of active pairs for manual traders by modifying the existing EA.

keep it simple folks. we can not add every indicator from a hundred people. signals would be very mixed up or wont trigger anything. focus is currency strength, just believe in it, it works. h4 1h candle is absolutely not needed the strength tells all. strength will not rise if prices did not go up, so no need look candles. all we need is testing open times and trade management in agreement with market behavior. I also do not believe in daily open price as many of us have it different depends of broker. what we can use is OPEN PRICE OF SESSION. So use Asian open price for Asia LO for LO and NY open price for NY session. this is logic. And a filter to stop trade around red news.

The only thing i am doing for now is use ADR and PTO to color the PTO box in gradients so you can see the end of the ADR room approaching.
Stop new trades from entering when ADR is exhausted.
And a news filter.

After that it focus has to lie on testing and testing only.

O and perhaps i will make a bar indicator for the currency indexes.

Patience guys/girls, Jibala has mentioned she has send Gvc all her trading logic, so we just have to be patient untill Gvc incorporates it in the db.

Todays testing was not good for my db, lost all yesterdays profits, can not show my results however because i was messing with the settings during the sessions.

Btw: Jarfx05 where are you? i missed you're gigantic profits today.

I have already posted the solution for the EA to not enter at the top of a move and hit our SL. I explained it is not good to set small TP and then EA will enter again instantly. The solution was to trail a SL along a 20 sma until price come back and get hit. then the EA must wait for the strength to "cool down" and go back to neutral zone and if it strengthen again then would be a reentry and if strength drops to negativ from positiv then would be a short.
Do not think in your usual trader mind how do you look at a pair and read indicators. This is about the currency itself not a pair and we look for the counter part strong against weak. so if one part get flat but the other still is strong, price will still go in our direction.

For demo i put the adr percentage to steps of 1 percent in stead of 10.

Color scale ranges from light green < 10% used to bright red > 90% used.

I wish i could color the box but i have no idea how George named it and where he defined it and i can't find it in the spaghetti.
But the idea is the same.

Edit: No wonder i couldn't find it, there was none......until now.

I have no doubt that this system will perform well during trending market.

The problem is you get hit badly when the market starts to be in ranging mode, which you would not know when and how long it will be.

Besides, market spend more time ranging compared to trending statistically speaking.

I would be interested if there is a built in range detector (bollinger squeeze, etc), and activate oscillator for ranging trades into the trend direction.

anyhow, a good system need to cater for different market conditions to be successful.

Hotpotato, i went back and checked the pairs Jibala had sell trades on during my LO series. Then, checking my current spread for those pairs, I see that they are indeed over my 2 pip threshold (with the exception of gbp/usd). So, only one of her sell trades might have been triggered by my settings. I am watching, but have not seen any sell conditions to trigger trades yet today. Thanks again for your time. -jason

Ranging Market?
Jibala 'logic' would not change.
Still have strong vs. weak signals.. her results seem consistent regardless.
We have watched this for months.
Maybe tighter sl/tp would be needed; smaller baskets?

Once the 'logic' using these strong/weak signals is automated and settings 'tweaked'
only Trading 'time' remains the BIGGEST factor in her discipline/success.
That is left for us to set.
Over Trading is often a root cause for failure in manual trading.
Why would it be any different for bot trading?

Not very many are having this problem as you.
Could it be you are lacking a common FONT that most of us have (but you don't????)
Your computer may be 'substituting' /compensating for it.
Find/Download/install 'basic' font package.

Reversal Results: I fell asleep. I missed my Tokyo minus 1H 'exit' plan. Will test again tomorrow.
Same plan... maybe exclude CAD pairs (CAD often VERY active post NYC-- failed to 'reverse' like others)
Here was the last screen capture before zzzzzzzzzzzzzz. (just before FOMC... and it was 'non-event')
