if you use the full TDI with the Volatility Band VB, you will see some nice feature with the TDI VB which gave us the heads up for the trade setup. A perfect scenario for ME/ME trading.

I stole the post by another member today to explain how I view swing high swing low and support and resistance. Then the PA setup was a H4 Inside Bar at confluence of resistance with BRN.

Hope you wouldn't mind answering this but if the trend is down on a currency daily time frame and the 4h is up and it eventually turns out to be the turning of the trend how could one know. Cause by the time the daily trend change is established a lot of trades and pips would have been missed. It sound newbie-ish but i really think other than a big reistance which may or may or hold there is a way to "know".

Hi folks, I got a question regarding cave manager settings

Let say my preset SL:50 and TP:100. Closed some positions at 30 pips, how do I set in CM to move SL from 50 to 30 pips automatically?

D1 - GBPUSD short trade.

Weekly - Tdi bearish cross, the angle is not very good, but could have potential to move the 180pips south where my target is.
Daily - Tdi bearish cross, under MBL & 50line. The last candle was a pin bar.

This is not a a+ trade, but imho worth taking with small lot size :-)

It seems during NY session I get better results with AU and JP pairs ...

It was writen before about 70% of TP=50 at AU during LO sessions.
Think it's just a Daily trend folowing result

I'm in EU since Wednesday. It went from +20 to +130 during that time. I did my analysis and according to what I see, I put my TP at 1.12. it's a breakeven trade and I will let it hit the TP or BE. I think it has a lot of steam left next week.

2015 Week 30 - Trade Summary:

Another tough week on this pair with mid July bringing less and less volatility each week. Price struggled to break away from the 200ema at the beginning of the week, but eventually found a route north on Wednesday. One of the many things that keeps me hooked on FX is the fact that I learn something new every day. This week really emphasised the importance of fine-tuning entries. Mondays trade was pip-perfect (very lucky) but equally some of my other trades this week missed TP's or hit SL's by a mere pip or two. Very frustrating but I guess its part of the learning process. See more below...

Monday: The Asian session made a surprisingly sharp move down for the early hours on a Monday. The move was prompted by a rejection of the 200ema. This sharp drop was the first clue that some profit-taking at the end of Tokyo could cause a bullish London session (thanks LL for that one ). London dropped slightly to set the low for the session before pulling back. I normally don't like entering on the first candle of a new colour but there wasn't much room to the 200ema where price would inevitably stall, so I took an aggressive entry at LO+1. Following the pullback, London didn't really go anywhere and in fact came within a pip of my SL. It wasn't until NY, that the bullish news releases pushed price up to the 200ema to hit my 50 pip TP. (+50, +1%)

Tuesday: What a horrible day for intra day trend trading. Had LO+1 broken the low of the strong LO bearish candle I would have gone short here. Other than that nothing really happened until NY. I took a trade following NYO after a double top formed over the 200ema. TMS entry was taken on a break of the first red candle but my 50 pip target was missed by a couple of pips (see green line) and the trade eventually hit my SL at BE as price drew in towards the 200ema again.

Wednesday: Another tricky day. I entered a TMS trade at LO on a break above FO, following a rejection from the 200ema. LO had other ideas and I was soon whipsawed out of the trade for a small loss. Following the whipsaw, price did eventually move upwards again for a short while. It wasn't until several hours later that another good setup formed (which eventually went on to be the move of the week). LO+3 re-tested the LO candle low (signified by the white line on the summary chart) and made a strong rejection back up from this level before proceeding to initiate a long upward trend. Had I been at my charts, I may have considered a re-entry here. In recent weeks LO-candle re-tests around NYO, are something I have noticed more and more. They often provide really solid setups and are well worth keeping an eye on. (-25,-1%)

Thursday: Having taken a loss from an LO TMS setup on Wednesday, I steered clear of the similar fake-out on Thursday morning. LO matched the Asian high but aside from that, London didn't really present anything obvious. The hours leading up to NY produced a series of tightening IB's which signified to me, that the US news release would probably produce something worthwhile. The news candle broke the previously mentioned level but I waited for this candle to close and give full TDI confirmation. I entered on a beak above the news candle and the trade moved to within around 10 pips of the first profit target. Suddenly a large whipsaw took the trade out at BE. Unsure whether this was news related or something else.

Friday: The CNY news release is the Asian session made me cautious of an LO entry. As it happens and LO entry on a break below FO would have been good for +50, although not strictly TMS since at the time green was above red. I waited for the TMS signal at LO+1 but the move was short-lived. Following the pullback, I again waited for full TMS confirmation and entered on the second blue candle once TDI green had crossed over red. My trade was just stopped out for a loss whilst NYO made up its mind on direction. Of course the trade then carried on to meet my 50 pip TP (-25,-1%)

Again, not the best overall weekly result, but this time of year is always tricky to trade, with the lower volatility of the holiday period. It is fairly clear from this week's chart that my entries needs some work. In many cases this week, they were almost too conservative. I'm also getting a little fed up with XM's 5 pip spread on this pair, which has also cost me a few trades recently. If anyone else has any other broker recommendations, please PM me!

On a slightly different note, I'm off to the US tomorrow on holiday so won't be around for the next few weeks.

You're welcomed. Wide range = high volatility swings, Narrow range = low volatility swings. Both look the same on a chart, though their pip range is different.

Hi. I'm newbie to this system. I read about first 500 posts than i tried today at demo. What is your comment to the graph EURAUD. I don't know how to distinguish these types of trades. TDI crossed, stoch 8,3,3 crossed, TDI is above 68 and stoch is above 80. What is wrong? Please help me. -87 pips now. Thank you. Excuse for my english.
