I just wonder why we should to pay whole expenses from our funds?? Is not fair...and why they ask to put just a creditor commitee this is a big mafia in my opinion...
They should to ask at least than we pay fairly either creditors and clients the whole amount of fee.

Why we should to pay for others thing?? like the selling of assets or working hours for make a deal or a sale than can just benefit CREDITORS and we should to pay???

They are completely fucked up....we just want ours money back and if we should to pay for charged fee for wire transfer and for this kind of portal and statement its ok..But not the whole amount...we are not in the interest about others things...

For example why we should to pay for hours spent for sell the trademark to the exshareholders??? than was a sell about 6 mln $ and these 6 mln surely will go in the pocket of creditors so THEY should to pay for the time spent for selling the assets cause is in only their benefits not us.

I think KPMG just doesn't care to protect us in this proposal but just protect the creditor ass...cause they doesn't want incurring in some legal action by them.

THIS IS THE ONLY TRUTH.

And this is really shit.

Does anyone of you guys have a clue how this client money into US-dollar swap is handled?
None here seems to care about this tiny sentence.....

Will we get our money back in US-Dollar?
Will we get the profit or do they keep it?

looks like 50p in a £ payout that is what they were telling me on phone!!!!!
not fair that the liquidatoras will take the money out of our trading funds, which were suppose to be "safe"

If we have to pay anything it will only be related to the return of money to us... Costs for selling assets, looking for new buyers adn things like this should not be included.

My guess is you will get the $USD amount of whatever currency you had your account on as per January's 19th exchange. Some may win something and some may lose

the likelihood of Citi and FXCM recovering their funds in full is very slim. The companies will be submitting their claims for the funds due to creditors, whose requests will be processed after the client funds, which are held in segregated accounts. Any recovery of funds will largely depend on whether or not KPMG will be able to find buyers for the different units of Alpari UK’s business. Looking at the current situation, the risks are that Citi and FXCM will be paid back a rather small amount of that, if any.

So i think creditors will take very few about what they owes.

I use Oanda as Im still trading mini lots. I like to scalp the one hour chart but have noticed that during news times the spreads can go up to 15 pips or more.

I know Oanda is not an ECN broker. Do ECN brokers also have these high spreads during news time?

Would greatly appreciate some feedback on this. Thanks

Don't say bullshits...if you are talking about the F.A.Q pro-rata PDF there was just an example...i don't think they confirmed this on the phone.

Please help - "Account number" that I need to fill in in the claim form, is that my MT5 login number (I used solely MT5 with Alpari UK)? Because other than that, I have no other account numbers on file, I have all kinds of passwords etc., but just this account number.

KPMG making Claims Portal live for test run with 500 Alpari UK clients – LeapRate Exclusive

LeapRate Exclusive… LeapRate has learned that Alpari UK Special Administrator KPMG is about to go live with the Claims Portal, in an initial beta test run for 500 clients.
KPMG will select (randomly, we believe) approximately 500 Alpari UK clients, all with cash-only balances, to test the Claims Portal. Those 500 clients (who do not yet know who they are) should be receiving an email from KPMG over the next 24 hours with instructions as to how to access the live Claims Portal, and how to agree their balances.
The purpose of the 500-client run is to test the capacity constraints of the Claims Portal, given that there will be close to 100,000 clients using it in the coming weeks, when it goes live for all Alpari UK clients.
Assuming that the test run goes well and without any major glitches in agreeing client balances and initiating refunds, KPMG expects to go live with the Claims Portal for all Alpari UK clients having cash-only balances by nextFriday, March 6 – although the invitations to access the Claims Portal will likely be sent out in several batches over several hours, to minimize capacity constraints on the system.
Clients who had any kind of open positions (as of January 15) will need to wait a few more weeks, until around the end of March, before being invited to access the Claims Portal and agree their balances.
We would welcome any feedback from any Alpari UK client which gets to try the Claims Portal in the test run – please share your comments below.

I have been reading up on a few pages i missed out while working, hectic life!!..I live in the UK and my account with alpari was in pounds why on earth is there talk about payout being in USD surely for me it will be in UK currency?

can someone please set me straight..

a) because the majority of the funds were in USD so it was the prevailing one

b) dont worry by the time you will be able to cash out the chances are you will be wining (a little) out of this (if USD goes on as planned)
