I was watching the same Gpb weakness as shown on the TTindy.

Three trades set up on Gbp/ Jpn Gbp/ Nzd and Gbp/Aus. All in the top 3 of the TTindy.

have gone back to observation mode so didn't trade but all three would have given an easy 10 pips just after the London open.

Interested in your Skype group would it be possible for me to have a peek in at it.

The next gbpnzd signal went, oh well that happens. Its now run 60 pips or so lower.

The skype group is not very active now that Clive is no longer around. The address was posted earlier somewhere.

Hi Guys
Nice to see so much activity amongst us all and another newcomer California, welcome aboard my friend I think we have very similar outlook on trading eg the strongest trenders only... No matter how you define them..

Just took one trade this morning on GBPNZD top of TTindy bit late to the ball due to work but still took 15 pips out of it round about 3.5% so a nice start to the day..

Theres some strong hrly support around here so tread carefully plus its moved quite a way already on this particular move..

perfect reversal setup GBPNZD top of both 1 min and 5 min but opposite colours, probably Mr V.s pre-NYO counter trend move before return back with LO trend..

Nope nothing came of last two trades both BE but again up a few pips on both but nowt to show for it...The first one probably because it had moved a fair way already so there wasn't much left so should of grabbed a handful and the GBPNZD was against the morning trend but with no USD today as a bank holiday it too ran out of steam...

The more I trade the more I'm swaying towards taking something out of every positive trade even if its 5 pips... Watch the price action and if its lack lustre with no real drive then jut grab 10 pips and be done with it if however its moving smartly let it run a bit... Diificult to do of course and requires very good discipline but the biggest thing is to just accept whatever happens after you exit, just ignore it if it fires up just after you close and races away, just remember all the times it didn't..

No USD today as a bank holiday so common sense tells me to leave well alone but if I get a trend over 30 then I'll have a look..Otherwise forget it...

Click on Dave Packham's name (post # 3,909 above). This will open his profile.
Look in the section that says Posts. Then click on 98 Files This will bring up a summary of all indicators that Clive has posted on this thread.
TTindy is amongst them (and many more wonderful stuff)

Hello.

Clive's Histogram CCI with 100 period nice filter, like 100lwma.

Bad news is TTindy not useful for renko charts. If Clive ask autor of this indy make it work with offlines TF.

I think it works fine if you have the TTindy open on one chart to identify the strongest trenders, then using 3 pip bricks on Renko take the ABCD moves. I'm quite keen on the Harenko charts we use to use, basically Renko charts with Heiken Ashi candles.

The ABCD moves stick out like a sore thumb especially using CCI on the Harenko chart. Awesome combination...

Strong trender, Harenko chart, CCI signal...Heres a chart when EURJPY was top of the TTindy..

Ttindy show start of strong trend on m1, but on renko chart this trend just continue previous move.
One more question. How you escape from this reversal entry? Or just accept it like obvious lost.

The TTindy just shows you something is trending strongly that of course doesn't mean it will continue to do so. So you have to pull a strong trenders chart up Harenko or normal and decide if the trend is still in place or not. On the EURJPY chart I showed above the first 3 entries were lower highs proceeded by nice AB moves taking out previous lows so we can assume trend is still in place. However trends come to an end as per the last signal you showed and if you trade any trend until the end you will have a loser at the end. However maybe after the first 2 or 3 winners you might think enough is enough I will stop for the day or at least on this move which had gone 130 pips by the time it gave your bad signal.

According to disciples of the Elliot Wave theory there are on average just 5 waves to every move. We are trying to catch wave 3 and 5 at best so after 2 entries we can assume it will reverse or at least have a sizeable correction move counter trend.....

Unfortunately there is no way of knowing when a trend is ending until it ends, just the nature of the beast I'm afraid. So sorry I couldn't foresee that losing trade coming but maybe we could expect it after such a strong move???? Therefore after 2 good signals don't take any more...
