Hello 2 all,
last long days I am reading lots of everything I can find about Alpari UK.
I am from Slovenia (neihgbour of Italy, Austria,Hungary and Croatia) and I am a retail client of Alpari UK with positive balance cca32K eur on MT5 ECN account. They did close 2 of my trades automatically on 16.01. out, as they did for all clients, although they would be in next two days profitable and closed.
I am not a lawyer, but those appointed administrators are, and they have to do, what in case of insolvency or here in alpari situation must be done. They have to come on the bottom of everything, who, how, why....and if there is more as 100K accounts, this takes realy some time. But I am also a bit affraid of what could come out more, maybe there are more things we or them do not now about and their investigation will show in time.
I am not on their side, oh no, I want my money back, yesterday, as we all do.
And I am not saying it is right that all that did alredy take so much time with so litlle info about it.
But I stil have some faith in law, I have to do that for me, and I know that those administrators will have to come one of this days to the bottom with alpari and make some final conclusion.
Before this we can not do much... all would be in vain, we have no facts, not even one. It is all some presumption and as they say at this time blablabla we have to blabla.... Yes they relly do have and they will. Until then, then we can start doing something about it.
And also good think, they are there, doing work appointed by Court and not Alpari, doing their work by 1000 rules of 1000 laws (in my country this would not be like this, but much much more worse, longer in years, on the end, after final decision, nothing would happen, no money, no conviction standing, nothing, just a fact what did happen) and I think and do belive, that in UK law rules. I do pray for that.
My opinion is, we just have to wait until those administrators come out with results. In business, which Alpari was, things go by some and many rules, and slow. We have to respect that, but you, we or I do not have to like it!
I say 4 all of us, universe will be in balance again, one way or the other, it always is, so be patient, do something for yourselves in the meantime

i have spent a long time making positions in cable which i feel will be good, only to see them dropped. The regulator themselves are useless..i dont see how anyone can be positive in this situation..u said yourself the regulator is not even paying the full amount..this is a bloody scandal and worse its not even in the news
what is there to be positive about? ..anyways all we have is time

For liquid markets is worst than us...they are forced to go with FSCS maybe we will take back 99% of ours funds back from alpari if what they said is true.
And point two if what they said is true the funds are whole inside segregated POOL account. In basis this kind of pro-rata if they decide to give us back ours funds in base of what they said we should to take at least entire amount "less" their commission.
Instead if they choose to make a pro-rata including losses about these 9 customers...we should to take back at least 60-65% if alpari is not obliged to use their money to repair some losses..For what they said..Alpari should to have 13 mln $ in cash...if they use'em for fix losses maybe we will take more or around 75% back.
If it will be like above, i will be glad cause we will take back the big amount from alpari without waiting a lot of time and "perhaps" we are able anyway to take back the last 30-40% from FSCS.
If like this i think it's a good cashout for this f***n mess.
