I was thinking the same when watching the PA and it may of been the best thing to do. I started watching the hrly and 4hr and saw how important this level is. Usually stop hunts in areas like these.

You'll always hit a few BE's which is good trade management in my opinion because you effectively avoided a loss.

That's very important if you want to remain in this business for any decent length of time (this goes for everyone)

Check out GU and GJ .... the plan is to ride them back down .... working on an entry now.......

Goodafternoon everybody,

Matts just read your posts, excellent trades!
I will not be able to trade frequently this week and next week. others things to attend to.

Here is my only trade of the day on UJ.
Price overall made a HL with NSH. Shortterm price made a nsh after a nsl. after the retest of that level i entered long. hope it is clear how i explain it.

Taking advantage of the great bearish mmtum in 1H, enter a mR, short, leave a candlestick pattern sales, and had done a complete pullback, with bullish weakness, so we short, to the next level of MS.
We will see greetings,

Yeps agree. I'm not unhappy with results at all. B.E. doesn't damage my accountl (all taken with comm. included) and there will always be another day to trade. I have learnt when taking loses or in this case trades not going the way you expect there is often some reason/force behind the market and it's best to trade on a day when things seem a little more "normal" (if such a thing in Fx). Catch ya'll next time (trying to sound American now hehe).

GJ - has paused to take a breather at the weekly pivot @ 177.410 but its shown strong bullish action.

LT OF still to the downside and recent structure high about 25 pips further up could be tested.

If it holds then I'll be pinpointing an entry to the short side.

GU- bulls are putting up a great fight and winning at the moment

Will be interesting to see if and when they start to run out of steam.

Not a lot of obstacles between current price and [email protected] but that's a good 90 pips or so away so anything could happen between then and now.


It is a waiting game at the moment......

I'm slowly getting accustomed to this style of trading. I start my trading day off on my trading simulator while I read more of this thread. After I have taken a few of the simulated trades and read for a bit I feel primed to start searching my charts, I think it's helping. I still see areas where I need to improve on but there is a lot of information to absorb so taking my time. Looking forward to when I can start spotting trades easily (dam Mr Pip makes it looks so easy lol).

This is the reason why I left in 1H MS and MM 200.

Yeah I shorted the cable a bit back and clearly it was too early and there were not enough signs for me to enter, bad trade on my part. I am looking at it still though as the momentum slowed on the last drive up so could be turning back to a bearish market.

Will post my trades later.

I'm currently short both GU and GJ as price has "rolled over"....

Managing both trades....... obvious bearish weakness the main catalyst for my entries.

Both trades going as anticipated...... to the down side nicely!

GU slowing down for the WP which is turning out to be quite an obstacle to overcome.....

GJ a good 10 pips away from any obstacle so tracking well so far.

GJ +13 pips

Closed it out manually due to price hesitation to drive lower.

Will consider re-entry if or when PA overcomes the WP.

As shown in the chart not very much bearish strength so best to take what the market has offered and bank it!
