OK, so I did not know that a double bottom break was good enough.
How about this one on the EU? It has a nice solid DB under it. If you followed the rules exactly, and your entry was 3 pips over the high of the BO candle, the high of the day was exactly 30 pips.

There were 3 contact points. At the fourth time the price broke through.

your example is otherwise a good breakout, but I wouldnt have taken that one as the price is below SMA. Long term trend clearly downwards.

one trade today gbpchf on 1min chart.
Take profit about 10 pips.

two trades:
cable: i was following and expecting a breakout. However, I missed the entry point. It would have been a profitable trade.
usdca: I went short, but it turned against me and hit stop loss at about 15 pips.

both on 1min

Here is one I took short by the rules when the triangle broke. Im currently up 4.

with all due respect, however, seemingly to me, this is exactly a complicated system and unable to be automatically operated (by EA).

how has this system been trading recently? i know some of you probably had a couple of good hits at the start, but how is it now? Miksu, are u still trading this system, has it been consistent?

Right now, I dont like the way the market is. I havent taken many trades recently. I do follow the charts daily, and look for obvious patterns.

I like this strategy, it is very simple and makes sence. I'll be looking for oportunities as well with eur/usd.... I set up a chart for it according to the rules.

i like simple trading systems, especially those based on price action compared to indicators which tend to lag

With all due respect Charvo, do you think the big dogs trade automated strategies based on indicators? Wouldnt they just be replaced by computers trading the strategy then? No, of course not, because good strategies require human discretion, and that is why the big dogs get paid in millions.

This is like Hector traders trades. Very good, reliable.

I prefer longer term in this method. 1hr upwards, because when the trend does come...A nice swing can give a few hundred pips!
