. i exited just now with a small loss. this kind of trades just come from my old habbit, i think. ah, ... very hard to kill...

One of the sad realities of supply and demand trading is that isn't at all accurate.
There honestly isn't any science to drawing the boxes in the zone. The science is how do you determine to buy or sell once you are in, or once you have drawn the boxes.
The reality is the boxes represent accumulation zones, but there is a small little trick in telling if the price will breakout to the upside or the downside once you are inside that zone. All you would need are the following things to be able to figure it out.
1) Two ma lines... (This will simply give you a visual reference which will make the accumulation zone much smaller)
2) Basic understanding of engulfing patterns.
3) The use of the smaller tf (5m)

For example... Have a look at any given pair, and look at how once the price breaks out to either the upside or downside it almost always occurs while the price is hugging the sma 10 or sma 34
Also notice the danger of using pending orders.
Have a look at USD.JPY and the huge spike it had upwards.... Notice the two ma lines, and what the price was doing prior to that breakout.
All we have to do guys is use the supply and demand zone as a base. If we then use engulfing rules and rest engulfs we should easily be able to catch spikes like these without over exposing our position or having a huge pip drawdown.

Just catching up on what seems to have been lots of conversation today! Guys, please don't ever feel the need to defend what we do. If someone challenges you or tries to discredit you, just smile, because they've shown you they're too frustrated to ever make it in this business.

I will answer your one as IF can correct if im wrong. Generally , i dont limit myself to any timeframe. Exiting half or 2/3 at first target is my trading plan as of now.
LTF you get many setups as the accumulation or distribution is often triggered by algos.
If the market turns unexpectedly im still in profit. Until you get effortless reading , exit some at first or second target and let remaining run.
Readthemarket.com migration to our new upgraded server is completed. Anyone had trouble with registrations or posting, it suppose to be fixed by now!
