If i trade news Tonys way, i enter 15 mins before news. I do it rarely, i prefer to enter after initial spike, at first ret.

My main strategy is quite different. I trade news occasionaly. I use ECN broker so trading before news is risky. But the most important rule stays the same: risk small, win big.

And last but not least, i like this thread and i think that Tony is cool guy. This is why i post here

Can try trading CAD news tomorrow but wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't move much because interest rate statement Wednesday.

What was your reason for putting stop there? I was also seeing bullishness in this pair especially after the second green candle but there was other better looking charts...Like gbpjpy:

My initlial SL was under PIN, but i started to reducing it. My SL was 1,27617 at the moment and low of this bar was also 1,27617.

On the front page it says to trade the German Flash Manufacturing PMI. Is this still the case as some of the previous results (from forex peace army) have seen poor market volatility or movement. Can someone please let me know if this trade is still one to make as Tony has stated above trading the AUD CPI q/q and Friday GBP Prelim GDP q/q but not the German Flash Manufacturing PMI.

German Flash has been less and less efficient and more dull because of lack of volatility. I could trade it with a 10 pip SL. Pretty soon, as I'm filtering the news more and more... you might just see the only preferential news: NSD NFP & CAD EMPLOYMENT. lol 300 PIP TP FOR BOTH

Yes Lukas, that's what the person expressed and I can't believe it.
Normal banks and ''aggressive'' investment firms will produce 20$ to 50$ on a 2000$ investment over 2 months. Now I'm talking about 1000$ profit and this is the type of comment I get. Some people are not made for this, nor math dammit!
