Throwback starting to look bullish, next for a rebound to 1,2690, 1,2750, 1,2800 or 1,2950.

UJ running. These two scalps added more cushion. Safe now until it hits 111.50 or so.

If the QEs would be really so positive on all aspects of economy or monetary policy, dollar would not be droping from QE programs nor would it rally from June to September like crazy as some miracle is starting to happen in US economy, which it obviously is not. I dont think at all those GDP numbers have even 10% to do with currency moves over past year.

bulls did it.. 2680/81 is the other i forgot to mention needing closes .. week still closed -2673.. so i am adding on weakness. still see the bulls having a possible 2850x setup. but 2587 happens before most times. below Fridays low it is. and that would make 4445 a target.. near the 4444 one prier to news b/o. many times these just go back to the rut. confliction

that is not what I said...... I will try and be clearer.....

EZ is in the crapper verging on deflation and recession including it's prime account holder Germany... all the data is pointing south or turning south....

All the ECBs efforts so far have completely failed to change anything, banks are just using the cheap money to their advantage and not to lend onwards and stimulate growth.....

The only weapon Draghi has left is full QE which I am sure he has wanted to use for a long time now but Germany is not letting that happen so far.....

Normally QE would be very negative for a currency value, but in this case because everyone with a brain cell knows it is required but ECB is holding off for whatever reasons or pressures by the time they do it it could have a positive effect because it means EZ can start turning the corner......

How that would play out is probably a far more muted drop to the euro value than might otherwise have been expected at the time, as oppose to a rise in the value of euro. Once that has settled I would then expect a further steady decline in the euro value until the data and outlook start changing direction....

Are you trading that pair? Some people on the Oktoberfest and CNY thread had a discussion about it, basic idea: it's a manipulated p.o.s.
Anyway, have 1299 as a low, so lightly different outlook, and horrible spread. But nevertheless interesting to see, if it's a well behaved pair.

i am watching it.. for this reason



maybe this will help, china has gained currency value verse the usd mostly this 2014+ summer. at the same time the euro has lost value verse the usd and china. it makes american and ez products cheaper in china while china products more expensive for u.s. and euro zone to purchase. so theoretically the euro-zone should be selling more to u.s. and china... but the reports on whats really happening is indicating the opposite. while comparable energy cost rise. even with such a large move since may. it has not helped the ez yet.. the energy comparable cost is wide..

Add to this, the Americans start crying over the expensive Dollar & cheaper imports in comparison to expensive exports ... IMHO the US industries will get hammered with an expensive Dollar are mainly Tech & Oil. Shale Oil, the flagship product USA is producing is far more expensive than Brent! Which could leads to dumping investments on current development plans & placing immense pressure on producers..
