i see us going back to 120 in the next 5 or so years...

Fxtyrant a larger view is below, I can see cable has plenty to go down yet. I have an put option that expires this Friday (1.5950) so I want it to DROP!

I'm just conscious of this. You seem far more experienced than me so happy to hear your thoughts

That would be nice if the US economy kept on expanding at a growing rate over the next five years without QE, but I find it hard to understand exactly how that's going to happen in reality. I suspect final GDP figures for 2014 are going to show a weak recovery at best, with the 2nd quarter possibly the strongest quarter of the year, given that the same recovery is based on cheap credit and low/near zero rates. Once you take that cheap credit away,what is going to happen to the US economy, which even now still shows signs of weakness and instability from time to time? The bond market does not seem to be really buying into the recovery story with 10 year yields still way below pre-crisis levels and if those yields were to start creeping up, I think the FED would be going back very quickly to a very dovish rethoric....

Good Morning Guys... Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Another trading week before us. Ive been reading excessively about how cable is going to perform this week. The pair is just on a wave of 20-30pips bearish and bullish movements since market open today. Fxtyrant what are your predictions and expectations for today's close rate since there isn't any major news until tmrw...

hey guys, was gone most of last week from Wednesday till today so sadly missed the bulk of this downtrend continuation. Looks like shorts from 1.62500 area would of put me in a nice profit but ah well life called. Level to watch now is 1.59000 obviously huge support level and I would expect some bounce from these level will be setting up small longs from here and then continue to sell the retraces on the way down to 1.58-1.578 levels.

Setting short at 1.60 s/l 1.60350 tp open toward 1.59

Intraday pull backs are possible, however i am expecting GBPUSD to reach 1.5820 area by end of this week.

Bias remains short on rallies.

cant wait for touch of 1.60 before more down down down. Damn if only I was at my comp on the 2nd for that double test of 1.625 doh especially going into the us data Friday picked wrong end of the week to miss.
