pending longs 109 108.9 108.6 108.3 etc

closed out my 2.5 lots from 108.85, 108.6 and 108.3 ... closed out at 109.35 ... now trying to see when im going to jump back in.. hmm....... obviously waiting for a pullback, but im eager to jump in, maybe its the caffeine lol

Tonight's data out of Japan (inflation, indu production, jobs report) should probably lift the USD/JPY towards 110. I don't expect anything JPY-bullish to come out of these reports.

It may want to form the double bottom on the M15. Or it may just keep creeping up and shoot when it is in the vicinity of 110. It is a 50-50 chance at this point. There is very little chance it will break below 109 with USD still bullish. So instead of betting on the double bottom formation and losing out on the uptrend, I prefer holding, unless I see a deliberate move downwards after Japan release.
The price will go where it has to go.

last week a japanese news came in and nothing happened till an hour or more later, a slow burner is what someone on here called it, and they were right

Investors don't seem to pay much attention to the JPY Unemployment rate. Not sure why. I think Tankan Survey out tomorrow, might see some market movement off that.

To hit 2% inflation, UJ needs to hit 110 and above.....while the US is holding on to the last card on rate hike.

All I see from the FF Calendar about JPY news today are the Household spending, Prelim production and the retail sales in which two of them is bad for JPY and one of them is good for JPY.

Would you know where I can find the JPY unemployment?

I am long now targeting 109.65, even though this will probably hit 110 sooner than later.

PS: Great entry point here at the 109.30 level.

The pair confirmed a positive closing failing however to already confirm our s/t target just below 110. The indicators of the daily chart are still well positive but overbought; it formed bearish divergences. We have also a potential S_H_S formation that if confirmed will support a decent correction. The indicators of the s/t charts are below the line this morning suggesting some consolidation/ correction with the 200 hours line at 108,98 the attraction!! Only an hourly closing below 109,10 will support a correction! Resistance: 109.96, 110.65 Support: 109.10, 108.80
