I believe today would be a good day to stay out of the market with both the FOMC Meeting Minutes and Draghi speaking just 30 mins later. I'm sure the big boys are looking forward to running stops to both sides of the price!

I would be surprised if price continues in one direction today and if I was going to trade today and I got up about 40 pips I'd close!

lol I agree with you! I try to filter things out and just take certain things into account. As traders, all we should do is get it while getting is good.. haha markets will always have corrections/recessions/depressions.. just the way it goes.. hehe

Nothing...gives people hope that their shorts are safe, while those expiry numbers aren't hit many times, who knows if they are even real. Next is 1.3686.

It means someone or some entities have an option contract in which they are selling or buying the instrument at a given price at a given time. If the price is correct at that given time the transaction will be filled. The owner of the option will have some profits depending on the price when he bought that option. If the transaction expires without being filled, than the owner of the option looses the money for which he bought that offer. The options are good because one can calculate the loss in advance at the time when he buys the option.

At least this is how i managed to understand it.

I am not.
I like people who are so sure about the market direction!

The last one suggested we will see soon 1.42 when price was 1.39. I shorted and took 17% profit at 1.35. I longed it till 1.364 took 2% profit, and I'm shorting it again. Maybe I will loose some money but I don't think so.
Meet me here in September to decide who had more winnings.

I manage my positions sometimes taking some profits then reenter at a better price, like today.

I never said we will reach 1.42, when we are above 1.39 last time, I was short that time. I'm long biased now...until 1.41 or if we break higher, bears might be done for a long time to come. Unless eurusd breaks 1.3470, its a buy, big time.

1.3615, if its hit before FOMC, will be a good opportunity to get rid of shorts, or anything below 1.3620. Unless you leverage low or use a tight SL.

setting short at 1.3660 s/l at 1.3670 tp at 1.3640, may take a long soon right before fomc to ride up to short.
