its the implied annual deposit rate as calculated from a 2Y GBPUSD forward swap.

And its not been modelled to a fair value, so you can only use as a directional indicator. i.e. are they going the same way?

It is still in the channel... Could break up again after lunch east coast time.

so that needs some complicated model to calculate. By looking at the chart, even if the two curves go the same direction, but if one curve is overvalued than the other curve for an extended period, they seem to correct and converge to each other.

the modelling is not complicated, just need both time series then regress them... maybe adding a few filter variables too.

but yeh, the idea is that they will always tend to each other.

This is how I'm thinking this will play out.

My long entry will be at around 1.3595 depending on the PA at the next higher low.
