That would be perfect for a long entry, not sure if its possible, though. If there is a spike to load longs during NFP, that can create 30 pips max, these days. Lets see where eur is when US session starts tomorrow...my guess would be 1.3630.
Everyone can see the chart, but only a few can actually read it.

I have a question. We clearly have a "cup and handle" formation on EU. Now the last 5 times this formation was confirmed. What was the next move? "extension or reversal?

kinda curious myself. i mentioned the month pp, the mid, year close/open 373x/4x area. is there anyone calling 366X/70 the high before new low drop? just curious if anyone has a reason to have large R at 3661/68

for the record I have 1.5% DD
its nothing as far as I am concern
I had situation going that 15%DD one of the successful hedge funds average DD 38%
Ok I am not a Hedge fund but just showing having some red is normal part of trading
Let me also add when price goes into a range (70% forex is in a range) some traders post numbers in extreme 1.42-1.50 or 130-1.20
Does not have to be so.Current fundamentals can not sustain 1.40+ with low inflation and 12.5% unemployment or totally crash to 1.20
Take a side and show patience and you'll make money either as Bear or Bull
It is amazing to me at -63% DD these guys did not take the loss...Not saying don't take a loss but if you trade within your account size then one does not have to take panic loss.

play long term without leverage at large drawdown is ok.
Warren Buffet can afford to buy dips and hold for years, eventually get out with profit. He only needs on average an annual 20 - 30% return.

It's been a very strong R several times in the pair's History / pre-History... Not now, different moves/ranges.

You already know how I trade.As counter trade trader I fully anticipate some DD and I have trading plan that takes that into consideration.
Its weird that I have difficulty going with a trend.Could be I am half empty glass type of guy.

I often have drawdowns. That is normal when building positions little by little. I do not believe being precise and all-in. Like today, how can one be precise? no way. I got a long adding at 3540, but my pending at 3490 did not fill.

Basically, theory says ECB does care only for one thing: inflation. So they're supposed to not have any duty/decission on currency value.

Now, Italy and France have huge problems and have asked for measures on devaluating the euro. So these measures taken are supposed to stimulate inflation and incentivate banks to give credit to people/companies/medium and small business.

BUT these measures are supposed to have a collateral effect, that is the euro to devaluate, so France and Italy may get what they wanted.

Will it work? Well, first question is if they are strong enogh for that. Second, it may be too soon at this moment to judge. Third, there are other factors at play and too much BS.

13673 (April low) next level above but with 160+ pip daily candle closing right near the day high of 13670 it doesn't look so strong - I would expect 13704 (April Low D1 close) to be tested - but that's not to say we can't revisit high 13500s again first, which formed daily lows on a weeks worth of PA - it could be magnetic.Fib ret. of May/June swing so far puts the 38 at 690 and the mid at 748 - also to note. That's how I see it anyway
