They are afraid of heavy sell which might be uncontrollable thus they don't want a bounce.

Let's see if FOMC give the chance. Anything down will be hardly resisted and downside + upside spike seems limited.

here's the problem for bulls the way i see it.

we have fomc at 2:00 est. that's 4 hrs from now. i don't think they are interested in pouring big pot til then.
hence, expecting a meaningful bounce before then is a suicide, imo.

have not said much since I'm still holding my underwater shorts and been trading other asset classes since this pair has been as boring as watching paint dry. Anyhow, FOMC could spike this baby either way 100+pips.

But if 1.3640/20 does not hold support this could very well melt down towards 1.350 where then we could see a bounce and retracement only to current levels before further dipping and going lower.

I would love price to come back close to 1.38, as i would be able to exit my longs (3 positions) without any loss and with some profit. I said last time, that a break of 1.3670 that any bounce would just offer better entry levels to short.

I think we are now in a medium term Dollar bullish.

For the record my stops are set at 1.3555 risking total of 1.5%, now i will step away from this pair and check in tomorrow.

buying a small position in kiwi at/near .8520 will close below .8516 + a small cushion. 3661/62 closes or not, on eu is where i am focused on the larger tf. going back to 3689 (before and after a new low)would not be a surprise at some point even after a new low. last nights high was the rung in the ladder under 3966. it held, that makes the smaller 3832 less likely. 3832 is a number on a slightly larger scale as 3689 is. both happen most times

I am also on the long side on eu now. think usd/jpy rise is huge overdone now. deserves to be slapped

kiwi 8528 last time caused a 250 pip rally. this time it is defended. lets see what bulls have got

All is green, I'm long on EU for a short term profit. TP right below DPV @1.36954

Long too 1,3664. If EU will have a normal behavior, it could go to 13875, then a good fall to 1.3500 level. To follow, because pressure on EU is terrible and i don't know how it will escape from that hammer these times.
Little luck is forex water. Learn all Trading strategies, then forget them.

there is a yearly close to get past... 3832 to me is normal, but that y close is not giving it away
