Hi Eitan,
Looking forward to your tests....I do not hold high hopes as I have never been able to get the the Sem to work because of the REPAINTING but in saying this I continue to look for the "Holy Grail" like many other folks before me.....My excuse is that I am almost 75 years of age.
I CONGRATULATE the folks who are trying to make this work and I must say after many long hours that their may be a glimmer of hope but if it was easy we all would be driving Bentleys .For there to winners there must be loosers...Time for a nice glass of Red Wine.

its very hard indeed..lot of years by resarch and developing with math and stat table..lot of hours ,days month and years with PC monitoring..

lot of days without sleeping..but that just me..the HG is inside us we just need to function our greed..and great sys that i work

hard to developeted (and still on..)its never easy..

save a toast for me to(with your wine.)

Hi Bob.
As I have explained before, I trade only those level 3 signals on the 4 hourly time frame that are backed by level 2 or better signals on the next higher TF, that is the daily. In both your instances, the level 3 semafor signals did appear on the H4 (as stated by you) but the respective daily charts remained silent. So I just ignored them. I have attached the H4 and daily charts of both the GBPAUD and the GBPUSD of the time you mentioned and they show the semafor signals as they appeared then. Please take a look. Hope this will clear it up.

Looks like a setup happening on EU/US on the 4Hr - its also showing confirmation on the daily.

Hi Taru,

Great charts and some great trades there. Have you had any losers using the semafor system? If so could you see what went wrong? Wrong entry /exit or wrong signal etc. I think this would help us all learn how best to implement this system.

OK the candle closed. Now I'll come in another 4 hours just after the new candle closes and see again. If the semafor hasn't moved anywhere, I'll be going long.

Just thought they might be of some use for people trying the 4 hr method with daily confirmation. I did not create the indicators, just got them to work with Build 645.

oh, and incidentally, it's "Ms. C"

You took the words out of my mouth.

Of course I have had winning trades and losing trades. Though the winners have been huge and losses small, the latter are not letting the account balance take off due to their sheer number.

Clearly something is missing that'll improve the odds of increasing the win ratio and after reading a few posts by Eitan, Ezzy and ForexSwag not to mention Bob's first post, I'm now thinking of a modification to my rules that will take into account the two modes of the market (trending or ranging) and take trades either with the trend or from extremes of a range.

I'll keep you posted when I find something interesting.

I've made my trade explorer completely public. This TE is associated with a GP demo that I am using to formulate a strategy on the 3 level zz semafor and will use it until it blows (thats what demos are for anyway) and I'll have to make a new one.

Anyway feel free to have a look at the trades and stats.
