FX Invest Fund - No Grid Trading Here

This is the Blessing EA I trade on my HotForex PAMM account so I won't be sharing any details here about the setting I'm using. All I can say is: "No Grid Trading Here"

Here is the result from Jan 2011 to Jan 2014. Lot size fixed at 0.01 with start up capital of $100 and max draw down of 8.99%.

I'm sure someone will have something to ask, but this is really a thread to show off my work

I'm starting a new account this week with $100, which will only trade this EA - Trade Explorer to follow.

90% Quality ??

Why not 99%? Is it because the results would be different

Hi, in order to achieve 99% I have to download the data from Dukascopy and convert it to MT4. I do not have a demo account with Dukas anymore and I also do not have the conversion tools anymore otherwise I would have ran a 99% backtest.

Also when I use to do a lot of backtesting in the past I found the difference between the two is not that much - I guess the real test will start when forward testing start this week..

you don't need a dukas account, http://www.tickstory.com/ and the lite version is free and will give 99%, nothing beats a good ol forward test though.

I wish you luck, I have several 1 trade max blessing pro demos running across several time frames as well. So far I have better results using the grid with multi time frame confirmation and closing out losers much much sooner than the black swan 50% drawdown trades.

Here is my backtest with 99% mod quality after downloading tick data from www.tickstory.com. Funny thing is it shows 99% mod quality as the green bar, but the text says "n/a".

The profit is less than with 90% mod quality, but the DD as well. I had to make one or two small changes to the set file as it did not perform that well at first. The conclusion is that 99% mod quality is a must for proper backtesting, so my comment in post #3 is indeed incorrect.

Well, let's see what forward testing on a live account has to offer - starting tomorrow....
