Another winning trade, currently manually closing trades as TP not seem to be working for me. checked settings and everything seemed ok

Dear SELLER9,
Do we are in Basket trading or now in singel pair trading. If we are in singel pair trading , maybe time to close this thret and start singel trading Thret. More and more BUTTONS coming. Do u remember seller 9 , there was 2 years ago that many BUTTONS, Robot cannot take it and what happened. You start different Robot. Is this Robot can take it?This ? Most important where are all this people who ask more BUTTONS ? They are in her.No, they are all gone somewhere. When Robot was not able to take - it was so hevy, so there was coming more Robots. So what this time? Do basket trading or single pair trading? Do we are in single trading thret? If I say this thret are about BASKET trading, do I am bad man? Do I say something wrong? I see supported are single pair trading. Is this thret about singl thret or BASKET TRADING? Seller9 do you want server 2 gods? Single pair traiting need to gone , basket is priority or time close thret!! Very simple. What u say, Mr. Seller 9.

last trade for the week. this puts me at +400 pips this week.

The buttons are now built into the latest MT4 build, where as before I was using a second party piece of software and a different method to create them, so as long as the MT4 platform supports them I will use them as they make it handy to do certain things with a click rather than having to go back to the properties to change things.

My main goal in this forum is to promote basket trading and continue to make the EA better at doing that, what others use the EA for is up to them, it is sometimes nice to see what others are doing outside the box.

So far I believe this thread is doing OK and is staying on course, it is nice to see the amount of input increase as it has with each new release of the EA.
I believe the EA is still following the "KIS" principle, as I have stuck to the main 3 indicators on the chart to trade the basket, as far as adding buttons goes, I only add what I believe can make the performance or ease of use of the EA better. I have had plenty of requests for different options to be added but have not done so as I believe they would only cloud the "KIS" principle. I have seen some of the other basket threads with postings that are not even close to what the thread was suppose to be doing by adding indicator upon indicator which did nothing for the "KIS" principle.

I plan on keeping this thread alive as is and have no plans on leaving it or starting a new one.
If someone wants to start a new thread and advance his ideas of trading with the EA that is also OK.

Hi x58,

I have the same thought and intention with you regarding this thread to be focused on BTS EA. The determination to learn, practice and be skillful in BTS are our main objective and purpose of being in here....

...but IMHO, when active basket trade against our trading bias, one or two good single pair trade will save our life. At the end of the day, we are secured. If this BTS EA are able to run automated both Basket and Single pair accordingly....I think we are hardly loosing our money. I am positive and ready to accept and learn whatever changes made from time to time for everybody benefits.

Let me show you one of my trading survival, so that I am in good position to win and still profitable even the basket trade against me. I also have to consider high spread, trading margin and DD when I trade in BTS....so, basket + single pair trade strategy will make me smile all day long.

So, let seller9 do his magic...

Thanks for the tremendous amount of work going on for this ea. I have been following and testing for a couple of weeks now. All looking good. Tickled pink with how fantastic the programming is performing.

For HAS exit addition, is there a possibility you could add this to version 14nb? My broker is still on build 509. If not, it's ok. I still appreciate your labors.

Its been added, its still the same version but has been changed in the zip file for 14nb on the first page, for build 509.

Please don't change a thing, this EA is performing great. It took some fine tuning be I have zeroed in on some pretty good results. Allision, I'm not trying to top you be I bagged 570 pip in one day. I know its only one day, I have to wait to see the overall performance over the long hall. Just in case anyone wants to know my strategy. Before I got involved with this EA, I was a scalper, and have been doing quite well, averaging 800 pips a week. But it is very time consuming, almost a full time job. I am retired, so I guess this is my full time job. Anyway, I have somewhat of a scalper strategy with this EA. For the past month I have messed around with most of the pairs and indy settings. Some worked better than others do to varying reasons, to many to state here, this is going long winded as it is. I have found that the C14 is the most stable of all the other baskets here. So I am using the C14 with the following settings: HAS = 2-12-2-8, IXO1 = 500, and IXO2 = 900. The HAS is pretty smooth and the IXO's correlate really good with the PA. Someone earlier in the post was talking about entery and exit, that it was easy to entry but the exit is the problem. I agree on the last half, they both are equality important. I have come to realize in all my years of trading that there are some many pips out there and you are not going to get them all. I think as with myself, many traders fall into the trap (for some again like myself are led by greed) of wanting to grab ever pip out there. In doing so you end up what I call chasing your tail, which turns out to be many losing trades. Well, I stopped chasing my tail. I now only hope to bag 30% of the pips out there. My entry is conservative (HAS cross, and IXO 1 & 2 cross. My exit is also conservative, IXO1 cross. That gets me out leaving a few pips on the table, but I have learned the longer you stay in a trade the higher probability of a losing trade. I guess I get that from my scalping mentally, kind of hit and run, get some and get out! I also use TP and SL's as protections. Again I only want 30% of what's out there so my TP is at 280Pips and TSL at 360. Its working for me and I will post some charts from yesterday and today to illustrate what I have said here. WWhen my testing is complete next week I will share the complete results. All have a great weekend.

i was having some success late last year / early this year but my settings were too broad and am now getting chopped up in these ranging markets

do keep us updated thats very exciting development, the scalping sort of angle with this great EA

i'm good on the last update. that's all i needed. it's preforming perfectly now, so i'm sticking with it. i've never seen an EA preform so well ever in my life. thanks seller, this is a massive blessing

Im assuming that you are using the 15 min TF, or possible the 1hr TF, and what you say about the exits is exactly right, entries are easy, it is exiting with spendable profits that is hard, and consistency is the other elephant in the trading room.

And the versatility of this Sellers Ea is many fold, we are able to trade any of the Baskets that we wish, and if our account or financial position only allows us to trade one pair we can do this as well, so for the inexperienced this Ea is truly easy to use, it is so stable now with the Buttons, and these are very helpful for all who are learning to master this Robot, so thanks for everyone's good work, for when I started reading this thread, the concept looked daunting, and I thought that all the having to do F1 and f0 was just so time consuming, but the way that Sellers has changed the setup, has made this ea user friendly.

This is exactly my thinking and is one of the reasons that I have bee spending a lot my time trading single pairs. I know that some of the members of this thread have been a little unhappy about me posting shots of these trades and talking about single pair trading when the whole concept of this thread is to promote and advance the functionality of seller9's fantastic peace of programing with this EA.

It has never been my intention to try to change this all that I was trying to do was to look for another possibility and way that everyone would be able to benefit. I firmly believe that we should always open to learning ways of doing thing's differently to our norm after all we all have the same ultimate goal in mind which is to be able to return a profit from trading weather it be to supplement a weekly income and give a little extra or to eventually earn a living from this complex industry that we call forex,

So if this EA can be usefully be used in a diversified manner without it being made to complex and cumbersome then I think that everyone here will in the long term benefit form it. That I has been well and truly accomplished, and with this latest upgrade I believe that we now have received a tool that will benefit us all on matter what our personal preference is with trading. I think now it is up all of us to learn how to use the trade management capabilities of this EA to achieve from our trades the beast returns possible without allowing a good trade to turn into a bad looser.

As Roger7777 said their are a lot of pips out there and we don't need to win them all we only have to be able to bag a smell number to successful. The winning formula is to be able to take consistent wins and not risk it all in the hope of hitting the big one, preserve your capital so as to allow you to continue in your trading journey.
