Right. The news and the odd reactions. I am fading breakouts right now for fun, but plan to truly enter the market after the news. I am also watching EJ as I think there is a chance it will hit 140.35/40 before GJ makes a move, and if EJ breaks this level I may hold off to enter later. Best of luck to everyone!

Market manufacturing took a hit but CPI was good and household spending increased. Abe san's programs have indeed become effective. The better the data get's the less speculation for more easing in the spring but GBP/JPY is holding on.

It's Falling real good now. That mini crash was the tell but here comes Mark Carney to the rescue in 14 hours. Still there is global risk abounding regardless of the S&P's new record high. CNBC reported Yellen blamed the weather, YAY! Really? hmmm. Are they sure it was the weather? The WSJ reported Italy will go bankrupt. Ukraine is about to be cut in two. The pound is a safe haven currency sure but so is the yen and GBP/JPY is the alpha dog of risk appetite. Bank algorithms do not like uncertainty.

Last time the SPX and Nikkei deviated like this was November 2013

I'm pretty skeptical at this point but nothing really bearish about it at right now

A record high on the S&P in the midst of an EM mini crisis and very poor U.S. data. You don't see it? These stocks are not cheap at all anymore no matter what any analyst says. There is a disconnection between technicals and fundamentals that cannot be ignored forever.

You could be right though. Markets rise 70% of the time. The question Edindzeko is this; How much of the equity prices are solid earnings and real forward-looking growth and how much of it is stimulus, QE, speculation. etc. We are about to find out because the QE will be completely withdrawn by next fall.

Knowing this is pending let's see how confident the bulls are with prices like Amazon at $360 a share and all the rest.

Anyway 50 pips so far shorting GJ. I'll try to hold it but Mark Carney is about to be on with sunshine and ice cream. Buyers get T-shirts and sellers like me get kicked up the arse. We will see.

It continues to fool both bear and bulls, taking stop loss of weak players on both side, I would continue to remain shorts, with scalping some qty between 169.50-170.50 .

I did go short @ 170.18 ....im quite confident as theres more than 4 confluences supporting the position. The 200 EMA, the coorelation with E/J and U/J...on the 4hrly feb 12th resistance turned to multiple support on the 16th and 26th which acted as resistance again, 5 min doji and inverted hammer. I was really dotting my I and T's this time. Hope it goes well as I need to regain my confidence with the terrible trade yesterday.

stopped out +2 pips as I moved SL , really not about to take a hit on friday. sheesh
