Any time frame works actually. Just remember 1 thing, the larger the time frame is, the larger DD you will have. Not only good strategy needed, good money management is the most important.

I thought I have written earlier on my explanation, the larger timeframe is, the larger DD is. 400 pips is big for you? Have you ever earned 16k pips in a single trade? That's my record in GBP/AUD trade just using MA. Keep it complicated and 10 - 20 pips strike, it will probably make you happy.

Its all educational my friend.I was trying to understand your thought process.Yes 400pip DD is too big for me but for others it might be suitable.

you held a trade for 16k pips? If this is true I salute you. whata patience. this is one thing i need to learn to make winners turn into more winners. How long did you held this trade? what was the leverage you used and how many lots you bought/sold?

Its an EA called eClock. Not based on tick, so time keep counting even when there is no movement in price.

Nothing much to leaked here, that's call privacy. GBP/AUD was just an exotic pair, so 16k for long terms trade are very normal. I will be happy if I can strike 16k on major.

How can you make 16k pips? multiple positions? A currency pair change from 1 to 2 that is 10k pips.
