Here is the second trade I'm looking at.

Long USD/CHF

Entry at market with a stop at .8730



Target price areas .97, 1.05, 1.15



Reason is because of fed policy changes and SNB not liking the high value of the chf

I also have bullish views ( and position) at usd/chf, but it's gonna be a bumpy road, most of the crowd is long, so the boat will start its trip but very slowly.

Hey guys, been a rough week for me so far and my curse of December trading has held true lol. I usually stop until January 1st and it might happen this year. My goal is to really build up my managed account and be able to generate massive returns for my clients in 2014, shooting for 500k in capital which should be enough to provide for myself and my clients.

Still will update daily and I will have a lot more time to talk about news and trades etc.. Since I will be dialing back my trading quite a lot.

But to show you guys the potential of compounding and trend trading I started a small live account to try and take 200$ to 100k by the end of 2014. Let the fun begin

If we have a poor NFP today I will not be taking any new positions until the FOMC. Eur strength as always, makes no sense. Wait until the ECB pulls another surprise rate cut!

if dollar doesn't rise after this numbers, then I'd say:
1. something seriously and dangerous is happening in USA which is beyond my observation
2. too many USD long orders and when one side of the boat is fully loaded...

Agree completely

I remember the days where a stellar nfp and unemployment would be a 150-200 pip day for UJ and euro would tank. Fundamentals are not matching PA at all and when that is your main trading style it really throws you off.

Well, I'm in the same camp about e/u but two things must be considered:
- possible allocation from USD fx reserves to EUR among the central banks in the world
- previously observed dirty money transferring into Europe

E.Union is a political project and the creators of this future super state intend to create USE (United States of Europe). Only strong Europe could resist to the Russian bear and opposite of that - a weak and separated Europe without commodities represents just a juicy meal for Russia and that scenario is the last thing that USA wants. So, where is the euro here? Maybe strong euro attracts more confidence in this fragile union (and a confidence is must needed now) and maybe many investors expects this super state to occur in the near future and expecting a much stronger euro with that. On the other side, if USA (modern Europe is an american project) really want to help the Europeans, it should bring them much weaker euro because this burden of this strong currency could take only Germany, all others are exhausted.
But let the market decide what it wants to do, we should just follow, it's the easiest and most profitable way for a small fish

If you did the exact opposite of what you intended, you would win most of your eur/usd trades. This pair has been so whippy for the last 2 years.

Trying to get a good entry could be expensive. On that note 1.37 was rejected again. Time to short it to 1.31 ... or in eurusd theory it will take out 1.40 bahah

Well guys it's been a very wild week. Managed to bring the managed account back a little today and not a big set back. Got stopped out on a few trades that reversed instantly

My 200 to 100k is going to get interesting. Love the wild gains that are easily achieved with pocket change. I know a dirt poor person that changed his entire life with a 100 deposit, all with shit luck of course lol. But leverage is your friend. Use it wisely though
