ffleo why you said that there is a strong correlation… in the diagram bellows the coefficient implies the opposite... Am i missing something?

The 4H was showing small buy signals, but a lack of a break of 3500 continues my bearish outlook for this pair. 3521 is the key level to the upside. A break of this and we could move higher. I ultimately believe this pair will head towards 1.2700 in the coming months. Doesn't mean we couldn't retest 1.3800 first, so trade wisely.

what is your time frame? pull up a weekly chart, start from 2007/2008, locate the peak of oil, and locate the bottom of DXY.

I don't know whether euro/$ is bullish/bearish...but all week prior support levels have been bought strongly, till price reaches monthly close, then stalls...surely given the prior price action just above this close - there must be sell orders/stops there - so why is it being protected, why was there not a big reaction to this area? Personally - today has been fairly big news wise, and fairly obvious with PA designed to confuse, but if price is bullish, why is that area being protected - is it to slowly soak up selling then cruise thro it disguised in news without pullback, leaving you on sidelines picking up the risky scraps leftover? Or is as it should be fundamentally bearish?

I genuinely have no idea, but watching recent months PA - it's like hike it up down, suddenly, then grind the shit out of it, end of move...rinse and repeat...
