It's nice to see this thread isn't abandoned by the originator. I just subscribed and look forward to further discussion and instruction.

I'm reading through the awesome PDF document from the first post "Trade What You See".

Wow! Good stuff. I think I'm going to have to read it a second time just to absorb all the great information packed in it.

I still haven't gotten to the actual system yet but I'm just about there.

Thank you for all that you are sharing Ken. It is very appreciated.

You can see from the above two charts that if using a more conventional trading ideology waiting on that DBLHC or any other tradeable candlestick pattern the majority of the trade would be over before you even entered.

DISCLAIMER" The breakout PO is only set if and when price CLOSES well above that area it is a RE-TEST PO

Hi,
I see the problem that in a fundamental driven evironment like we have at the moment price can move through the most levels like a knife moves through hot butter. In this case PO's can hurt the acc heavily.

Yes , Big news can throw most ideas out the window. but you still will see that levels will come into play you just may pass through some until it does start to react again . I am sure big players with lots to risk pull orders and reevaluate after large financial changes. Especially ones that carry world wide implications.

So to stand aside for a day or so to let the markets absorb the information is not a bad strategy either. or at the very least look for major levels that are clear if your wanting to risk but also going with the trend once it settles into one.

Being out of a trade sometimes is the best position to have .

Dude, Mr Lee isn't trading the original method of this thread (after painstaking effort lol). You might just want to read the last few pages of this thread and then take a look at 'Romancing the price' thread and 'Price is everything' thread.

My progression in my trading has fundamentally changed , plus anyone that was wanting more info on EO's trading ideas never spoke up or asked for any additional information . in a long time. The latest ideas I have been trading will continue . But a new thread has been started so that it can be discussed in it's own right.

The new thread really isn't off the ground as of yet but is a work in progress a new PDF of the strategies ideas and rules is in the works and should be posted soon.

The the thread link is here.

I will still gladly try answer any questions pertaining to EO's ideas . But his own thread has never died either . So questions may be asked there as well.

The new information is just a lot diffeerent than the past .. But great trading to all . I hope everyone finds what they need to trade well. ken

The first rally moved back from within 6 pips away from the bottom of "rectangle". So I took a short based on price action and stop loss is above the top of the candle before it moved away.

The Demand-Supply lines are drawn at drop-base-drop junction

Hi,

I have drawn two supply zones based on drop-base-drop consolidation on 1H chart
Any feedback/improvement/correction would be more than welcome..
The EUR/PJY trade going in my direction so looks good so far.

Cheers

The EUR/JPY chart posted at comment #4531 above earned me +41 pips
My first and only live trade so far with Kenneth's (and Sam's) Demand/Supply technique.
An auspicious start to a long journey with this method.

The technique is easiest. The crux lies in drawing S/D lines. That's quite deceptive at the beginning. I just started with this method.
Not trend, but imbalance is my friend

Ken, I've been studing EO's method for a few months, and I have one question, hope u don't mind adressing. I've been able to make several winning trades in row, taking partial profits on each one of them, but usualy one or two losing trades wipe out all the gains I've made. What do u think is wrong? My SL positioning? My profit targeting?

best regards, FF

dario and others that will read this great thread, "Schwager on Futures - Technical Analysis" is excellent and very comprehensive. And it applies to all markets, not just futures:

I have the hardcover version but Amazon carries others, too, such as Kindle.

One more that I'd like to add is "The Master Swing Trader" by Alan S. Farley. Many charts and examples and I highlighted the heck out of this book, which I still refer to years later:
