It amazes me how you close so fast the GBPAUD. I am short at three levels well below your entry and you just took less than 1 pip? I think you're trading with scared money and right now very low confidence. My stop is almost 100 pips, but it does not affect me emotionally cuz it's just less than 1%.

Take it easy with the lot sizes. I know how you're feeling with the string of loses as I am experiencing some draw down this past 5 days, but my position sizes is so small that it does not affect me. The trick is we must still have funds when the draw down ends.

Since August 21st, GBPAUD has no direction in the daily time frame and in this environment, I am just trying to minimize losses. I am not even expecting a gain, nevertheless, I will trade when my system generates a trade. Usually it moves in the same rhythm as EURAUD, but for some reason it does not. EURAUD is trending more than GBPAUD.

It is VERY FRUSTRATING, but keep your calm and stay focused.

I am , .My system has registered it's first losing month in 7 Months whereas my Actual Account has registered its 4th losing month in 7 Months.The margin of loss for my loss this past week was -429 yet my system only lost -57.
I am sure you will understand why I am bitter .I will try by all means to stick to my plan and my system but I have said this so many times and I am not really sure if I can even do it.I have lost my discipline for 5 weeks in the last 8 (this is shown by the weeks colored RED on the Actual (Real) Tab in the attached spreadsheet .I am down to +/-£84 risk per trade , please check attached for more details.All I can say is , I will try , but I am really not confident that I can do this.

If only I could just stick to my system

Tafa... your problem as I see it is that you are expecting too much.

About 8% profit a MONTH will make you a millionaire in less than 7 years... what the hell man, you are trying to make 8% every few days, your expectations are simply too high.

You are trying to trade beyond your mental capabilities.

While you have nice pretty spreadsheets, they are only a reflection of your unrealistic expectations.

Change your spreadsheet projections to match the reality of your real life capabilities, and I think you'll discover that trading at a profit is nothing more than boring mundane small gains on a regular basis.

The reality is that you are no match for the expectations you have programmed into your spreadsheets.

Thanks but I am not impressed.I am still wondering if there is anyone out there who trades their system 100% no deviation , because I have failed .Those trades were NOT my system , they were just 'gut' kind of trades.I still belive it is possible to make money out of trading.Will see

I'll admit, I've tried several times to make a list of rules but have a hard time writing something I know I'll have a hard time keeping so I've been just going with what I see. I don't know how long you hold your trades but the more I practice, the more I see the importance of "trading with the trend". For scalping that's H1 & M15 trends and for swing trading it's H4 trend. When I start the day, I usually check the markets I watch & just pick the markets that are trending the best & try to enter on a retracement with the trend. Stops go below/above a recent swing-point.
The problem with strict rules is the markets are always changing so I think rules need to be more "general" like 1-trading with trend, 2-max. % loss per trade, etc.... and not strict rules as applied to your executions. Today they may work good but tomorrow just terrible so need to adjust to the type of market (trending, ranging).

While I'm no expert (obviously) I am averaging about 1.6% increase on my account balance a week since I restarted in late June +17% in 10½ weeks, and August was a slow month with Europe on summer holidays.

There is NO other way really... is there?

It is IMpatience that is always leading you to take bad trades, it is IMpatience that leads you to set such unrealistic goals via your spreadsheets... and it is patience that is allowing me to slowly regain my losses.

I have leant my lesson now, trust me , I will start taking the money no matter what .I have had enough .I will just collect money , money, money whatever it is I don’t care. I am not going to be bothered about anything else now. My entries are near perfect it’s the exits that kill me, for this reason .when ever I get a decent amount, I will just take the money .Simple
