USDCHF Forming contracting Triangle consolidation on W1 TF. Any break above previous swing high 9838 would be deadly for Bears and below 9130 for bulls.Personal BIAS remains LONG with current levels good for buy on dips, like 9400. There is a still lot of room in this triangle and wont be surprised if range-bound chop continues.
Cant say its rangebound but downside is pathetically slow and without much momentum. Post 9400 break 9320 acted as SUP for a while and now is an UPSIDE RES LVL for me. On downside same old 9130is "THE" LVL

Sorry rule was added with some purpose. NO exceptions , else it would become a biased affair.

- Nice Volatile Week and as usual "HOT NFP FRY-DAY" with stops triggered on both sides for bulls and bears
- EURUSD After popping 1.33 to 3343(PA unconvincing in that railroad pattern), it was kicked back down to to 1.3188 & now again back around previous week's high to 1.3293. Over all BIAS remains same i.e. "Lets see the PA around 1.3300 break" this time to see whether it can hold.
BUT any break above 1.3310 would shift my bias to bullish and esp after breaking previous swing high of 1.3343
IMP RES LVL's on upside are 1.3310 (Gr2B), 1.3343 (Gr1AA), 1.3400(Gr1AAA), 1.3510(Gr1AAA) & even 1.3710(Gr1AAAAA), if pops good.
Overall see too less congestion on upside if USDX(index) breaks across the board.
- GBPUSD: Almost same story but no swing highs. Kicked down to 1.5100 and Pop up to 1.5307.
My BIAS has changed and i am quite BULLISH for this Pair looking at W1 TF chart (see some TL's SUP acting BIG). The D1 TF candle is HUGE & so is sexy wick on W1 TF
Levels on Upside are 1.5330, 1.5450, 1.5480, 1.5600 and even 1.5750 a possibility. New NML LVL is 1.5200 for me below which bears will take over.
- EURGBP: Bulls still roared early on taking Highs to 8770 (8810 still saved) and kicked down nicely 100 pips to 8676 (making lows in even last hour of weekend) . Showing a nice W1 Candle with wick @ swing highs. As posted, BEARISH BIAS remains same for me.
On downside, if happens, major LVL's are 8560, 8400, 8200
- USDCHF: Same choppy story. Early weekend i was bullish for this pair, Stops of bears taken out with move to 9388 and back down post NFP to 9273.
Bearish BIAS for me. On downside SUP LVL's are previous swing low 9220 and then very IMP Gr1AAA SUP 9130 (as already mentioned)


See next 2 weeks as very important and may be forming a trend till september in some major pairs.

- GBPUSD played out perfectly bullish taking out even 1.55 Squeezing even medium term bears on the way up>thanks to Carney's carnage of bears (after early TRAP to 1.52) Looks choppy for a while.
- EURGBP got nicely pounded for about 145 pips in 90 minutes and even today testing last weeks low. Remains BEARISH for me.
- No much detail in pair updates this week; Bit busy with some project

But as mentioned last week "next 2 weeks as very important and may be forming a trend till september in some major pairs"

- GBPUSD Chopped a bit till 1.54's but still playing our bullish taking out 1.56 (and hitting highs of 1.5650 till now)
Overall upside from here on esp above 1.57 is limited IMO except if we see some USDX weakness across the board.(Imp week)
- EURGBP got pounded once again hitting 8500's as new lows . Overall looks to be at IMP SUP LVL's. Prolly would retrace a bit and depending upon the PA of retrace, there can be some reversal or continuation of downtrend(which can actually be quite sustained). 8400 is Major Gr1AAA LVL on downside, just in case.
- No much detail in pair updates this week; Still busy with some project

As mentioned some priming has been done in last 2 weeks and this would be an IMP week.
Liquidity is relatively thin and imp data releases this week esp. starting from Wednesday including FOMC minutes, etc could add some volatility & some short term trend till september

What is the deposit of 255.97$ in misc transfers , in your explorer details? Oanda doesn't give that much interest on that small account. Reply with details asap

The amount is spread rebate from Liteforex and not my deposit.
I hope it is allowable.

ill give this a go with $100. I wont be trying to achieve the 1000 fold gain in a month though. 1 year I would be extremely happy with. This means I will need to compound 15% every week for 52 weeks to 1000 fold this account.

Though rebates(that too feeded back into trading account) is a tricky issue, as of now i am allowing it.
But i will think more on it as personally i also generate a lot of rebates...infact the 100$ account which made $11200+ generated some 900$ of rebates
which of course i didn't calculate as part of target objective. Rebates is a nice thing like in above case 900$ of rebates is already 800% profits.
As that broker doesn't pay directly into account, it can be bit different for all.

But this thread is a 100 fold challenge not a 1000 fold (i will think about 1000 fold when we have a lot of 100 fold HOFTL entrants )
You can take as long as you can. This challenge has no time frame as 10000% is not a small profit gain.
You can let us know when you setup the account and explorer (as per challenge rules) and ready to trade.

More motivation and accountability when it is tracked publically. I have never deposited so little into an account, but I have also never 100 folded an account.
It will be interested to see if I can have the "balls" to take massive drawdowns to 100% affordable risks (profits) ... going for huge gains

It's always harder than it seems because equity is equity. You just have to block out the fact that its equity just the same as any other account you have....
.....and remember that its risk less (all profit)



By the way, to kill the boredom of using tiny size during the early stages, I will continue to trade my other accounts as normal as ever.

Of course, the challenge is keeping yourself grounded, and not letting it go to your head. That's why these accounts are often blown out later on, but that is also why you withdraw profits along the way.

GL for your adventure. I sure cannot do it.

I have bet size problem which is apparently common. Every time I double bet size, have couple of trades that are clearly not optimal, as new size impacts my thinking, fear I guess. On the other side, I cannot force myself to be motivated if playing smaller size. So, just have to grind larger and larger size and cant look back.

yes indeed, you definitely need to work on it. Thats what trading is all about . Modulating & capitalizing your emotions.
Else you will keep "playing"(Surely a game to you) with your millions & losing them of course.

oh yeah...i am sure you cant look back at the "thousands" & "millions" you started the grind with (filthy rich scenario) & which are now lying with those who took other side of your trade.

Thinking of starting with $500 instead of $100

Just so I can have more margin and draw down to work with initially.

But, for purposes of this challenge, that means I need to get to $50,000

10% a week for 49 weeks
15% a week for 32 weeks
20% a week for 25 weeks
50% a week for 12 weeks

all will = to $50,000++ .... 10,000% gain
