DislikedI have only had a couple of accounts for Forex spot trading, however Alpari (UK) have been pretty good all round.Ignored
DislikedMy only problem with them is not being able to get debit/withdrawal through their new "My Alpari" web interface.Ignored
DislikedI like Alpari, nice Company. Respond quick, staff is friendly, fast reachable per telephone, fast withdrawal, aso. Nothing to complain. Have a account with them, but trade only few major pairs there.. Because... if you have a Micro account you cant trade much pairs except the majors. NZD/JPY has ridiculous 7-9 pips spread what is... And few other interesting Pairs also... Had to split my trading to a another account (Broker) to avoid that. They should lower that, at least 2 pips, because only a no brainer would trade that. Micro or not,...Ignored
Disliked{quote} I think you should give their MT5 a try , NZDJPY just around 2-3 pips spreads there . After 4 years of trading with many brokers and after the closing down of Liberty Reserve , I moved to alpari MT5 as I love their execution speed , damn low spreads , friendly support , serious company , especially no commission . I can't find any others broker with better spreads and no commission like alpari . Their credit card deposit is lower than most of others too ...Anyway they're the first broker I chose to trade for a living and I'm still doing...Ignored

DislikedHi, I have a Spread Betting account and was about to put on a live pending sell stop on EurCad. However it gives me the message below, 80 pips! can this be explained? {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi soso, Good question. The difference in spreads is because the execution policy on MT5 is different - prices are not held static (for a few seconds) like non- direct market access accounts, they constantly change. Orders on MT5 are sent on a Fill or Kill basis. Alex ________ Alexander Chadwick Alpari (UK) RepresentativeIgnored
Disliked{quote} Hi markmm, Good question. MetaTrader 4 was designed to recognise the last decimal point as a pip. However, the fifth decimal place is a fraction of a pip. Consequently, 80 fractions of a pip equate to 8 pips. Our typical spreads on this pair are 7.2 pips. On this note, it may be worth remembering that Euro Cad is a synthetic price. Any effect on Euro Dollar and Dollar Cad prices are magnified a few fold in synthetics. Alex ________...Ignored
DislikedHi 4Xfactor, Orders are never guaranteed because if volatility is high, prices can be missed and we may not be able to obtain a quote for you at the price you requested. Orders are also sometimes filled away from the desired price due to gaps in the market. This occurs because currency prices can sometimes be very volatile or liquidity can be thin. To add some background, slippage is not an invention of the retail FX market. It exists in the Inter-Bank FX market and has done even as far back as when the principal method of trading was by shouting....Ignored
DislikedDear Alex, I opened an account couple of months ago but was unable to Fund my account due to following reasons: Wire Transfer: Due to Regulations in my country (Pakistan) I can't send through WireTransfer unless I register myself as a Company (Hence become liable for corporate tax) Debit Card: Your debit card gateway requires my VISA Debit Card to be 3-D Secured, and since Banks in my country do not have this technology activated, my VISA Debit Card is also useless. NETeller: Alpari UK recently added NETELLER as a payment option, but NETELLER does...Ignored

DislikedHi, Here is some feedback: I've been trading Alpari for quite a time - a good broker: - easy withdrawal - spreads are not the best for some pairs but ECN and special account kinda stuff make it ok for me and those who prefer low TF; though during news releases sometimes get just ridiculous - it doesn't depend on the broker - execution is ok - support team is ok - no annoying advertising letters - a great lot of other stuff like analysts, some courses, demo contests but dunno a lot about it - no needIgnored
