GFT Forex Discussion

GFT Forex as a dealing desk broker (counterparty to client trades) is no longer competitive compared to ECN brokers. I won't call them a "scam" since they have always been a market making broker and you ACCEPTED that condition when you opened your account.

Personally I've closed my account with GFT and moved on to ECN brokers only. Currently using IC Markets and Armada Markets and going to fund Global Prime. There are many other ECN brokers like LMAX, Pepperstone, AxiTrader, etc. You can find their individual discussion threads on ForexFactory.

Can you share what execution time you have for big orders (20-80 lots) ?

Today I had one more order (GBPUSD) on 62 lots which was opening 113219 milliseconds (113 seconds) and closing 16860 milliseconds (16.8 seconds).
In my opinion it just comes out of all possible borders, I'm just not sure whether it's the real filling problem or they try to get rid of successfull trader.
Anyway I've made the decision to move the most of equity to some ECN broker. Just need to decide to which one.

Does anyone know not too expensive ECN broker with possibility of connecting C++ EA and which I could download tick data from ?

Here I just want to understand if these numbers (113 and 16.8 seconds) are ok for MM broker.
Anyway for me such high numbers are unacceptable ...
