i will add at all rallies and reduce when it retraces, add back at next rally. hold a certain size position to at least 3050.

Here's the long termer.. 3188 was one of the targets from 2792 so it's a left over there..
Intermediate targets, 3350, 3400 and possibly 3500 for upside, downside 1.3

the real juicy one is the long from 1.3 to 1.37.. so many things have to happen for that though..

Im trying to stay neutral (and out) but every time i glance at these longer term charts they scream at me to enter short.

they do.. but remember bulls are extremely mean when they get going.. it takes longer to turn from bear to bull (maybe that's why most prefer short), but it takes less green candles to reach targets than red ones for reverse.. I don't know why but that's how it seems this pair moves..

This is what I do once I'm in the green. After about 15-20 pips I put in a zero stop so I never lose. When it goes to 40-50 pips, I usually cash them but if I want to go longer term when it hits the 80-100 pip, I'll place a 40 pip stop-profit and see how far it runs. If my indicators show a turnaround I close the trade and if I miss it or am asleep, at least I got 40 pips. This is what I developed over the years. Works for me.

Most of the time, the market will tell you when to close if pay attention to the patterns. Announcements can be another monkey wrench.

i have this same trend line drawn onto my own charts too showing we are close to the top of the range in a descending channel. Fundamentals point to dollar strength in the coming months but i generally dont like to enter short on the euro on anything below 1.34.

Going to bed now (no doubt i will wake up in the mid .31's)
