found this graphic somewhere on the site and thought to repost it here. 9-5ers have to be aware of this chart to help with stop and profit placements. The more volatile the pair the bigger the range and the bigger the stop required to stay in the trade

For now, i decided to stick to majors because it is where i do best. Crosses (especially GJ) offered me lots of pips but took a lot more. I need experience. Cheers

Well said Rehab. I have not been able to truly profit from gbpjpy. Wins here and there but nothing special. Not so with eurjpy though. I wonder why. So I stick to what I do best and do nothing else

Just looking at the 4hr chart and saw the marked formation. Now I believe usdjpy is going way higher but there will be twists and turns along the way

Hi Olu,

Came across this image of Ted Williams, probably the greatest Baseball hitter of all times, and a quote from Warren Buffett citing Ted. The dark red baseballs represent the .400 average batting zone. TW was one of the few hitters to ever bat .400 in a season.

“The most important thing in investing,” Buffett said, “is what Williams said was the most important thing in hitting” — waiting for the right pitch.


“What’s nice about investing is you don’t have to swing at pitches,” Buffett said. “You can watch pitches come in one inch above or one inch below your navel, and you don’t have to swing. No umpire is going to call you out. You can wait for the pitch you want.”

Hi Olu,

Aussie pairs are getting close. Smoothed HA candle structure and RSI are beginning to show promise for GA in particular which I have begun to probe with small positions. With my long UJ still under Hedge, my centipede wants to feed. He does not want to hear about small meals or long delays. How quickly he forgets.
