  1. seems the history of trend lines doesnt refresh automatic
  2. issue with gold color as it is here when reset & then disapear ( same day gold can repaint if new hh its normal )

but even past ie day before disapear

PLS GUYS I AM ALONE TO HAVE THOSE ISSUE PLS COMMENT !

Calling a very kind coder pls kindly if u can consider to help with bar indictor

its display speed of last bar really needed & some alerts


let's think about our bars & needed coding as now its a mess !!!!!


inside bar if ((H<=H1)&&(L>=L1)) { WHITE

outside bar if ((L<L1)&&(H>H1)) { PURPLE *** need alert when new high or low of the day & maybe can be live bar ie change color & get alert before close !

outside bar not same color when its a new h or low of the day !!!!!!!

bearish bar if ((H<=H1)&&(L<=L1)) { MARON

bullish bar if ((L>=L1)&&(H>=H1)) { forest green

One way down bar if ((O==H)&&(L<=C)) { RED

One way up bar if ((O == L)&&(H>=C)) { BLUE

but wee need more flex on design of bars empty full tin large colors etc etc

let's try talk about our bars

 

  1. OB = the master of our system


market make a swing, new high & new low (compare to previous bar)

we use them as the master to draw our support & resistance lines

 

  1. IB = market make a pause

  1. bearish bar = market make a new low (compare with previous bar)

  1. bullish bar = market make a new high

  1. One way Down = market dive down why open == high & bar bearish

  1. One way UP = market jump UP, why open == low & bar bullish



please kindly comment ?

more to come how to trade them, the sequence of bar ; if its possible ???

BUT I AM SURE GD INFO just to know if trend line is very long very hold

its like the " age" of the tline

just display the number of units between 2 OB

updated the EA
- with power of lines request (see post 110). There could be an issue of two numbers merging when the trendlines get too close though i have added additional code to prevent such happenings.
- added code to reflect past trendlines when a new outside bar is formed.
- corrected a coding error on LastBidPrice.


Lastly...... hopefully no errors.

IF my lookback is 1440

its = 1440 units in 5 m its = 5 open days of trading = one week !

so oldest trend line that can be draw in full is <= to 5 days <= to 1440 units ( if there is a OB around there)

IF this line is flat 0.000000 pips

then POWER value is (1440/0)*100 = 0 ************** correct ?????

if previous valid OB , OB-1 is far way ; more then 1140 units POWER VALUE IS 0

  1. so when i see 0 = old very strong trend line , gentleman line = "camilla" ??????????? correct ????

in the ea trend line lenght follow market = yes ; but if no new OB the power data dont change correct ?

0.00084 pips

(5/8.4)*100 = 59.52

seems the ea display 5952

IF we display in Thousand to compress the data size on chart

this is 0 .059 ? what do you think ?

0 is the max maybe to avoid mixing 0.059 & 0 we could put something elese when zero when max power

other example

unkts 1440
pips 0.01

(1440/1)*100 = 144.000 thousand then display 144 T you think its better ??

because the pips are calculated only on OB bar
NOT OTHER BAR

so data cannot change unless trend line change

btw for post 154.
Have you taken the trades based on what you have drawn?
What were the conditions that led to the trades in terms of
- entry condition,
- conflicting trade entry condition management
- stoploss and
- profit target?

Updated EA with new calculation for Power of lines.
Screen shots OSB v1 is the older calculation. OSB v2 is newer calculation.
