Officially Long now. Price has been pretty choppy in this area. I guess that means a few decisions taking place. If the US Indexes see more weakness then this should catch a bid in the short term at least anyway.

GBP/NZD - Long Update


Finally a bit of convincing movement to the upside, only to be followed by a short pin bar last night. I am holding onto this position and will not be reversing. I remain bullish the GBP and the NZD is way overvalued across the board imho. So this should mean higher prices.

1) Overbought
2) At previous resistance
3) Classic pinbar shape

CAD/JPY - Long Orders

This is about getting on board the Yen bashing again. I am also bullish the CAD so this one is a no brainer for me.
1) Oversold and showing divergence
2) With the prevailing trend
3) Classic pinbar shape

PA gaining upward momentum now, will move stops soon........looking good though.

GBP/NZD - Position Closed

Woke up this morning to see that I no longer had a position open in this pair.

What happened was I left a TP order (Sell Limit) in the market. I had already moved the preliminary TPaway from price as the trade matured and later thought I had removed it. But obviously I had not. I have since stopped placing preliminary TP orders in the market and I prefer to trail them up.

The order was set at 2.0000 and I ended up getting filled pretty much on the high of the day. As it turns out it tanked and produced a nice short pin bar.

I feel lucky and ripped of at the same time. Lucky because this pair may turn around now as technically its a sell for me. But, ripped off as it may run further......

Either way the position is closed for a +4.3R Profit. I am on the side for now.

US Holiday today so may get thin trading....this does not void the setup though.

1) Looks like a solid bounce at an uptrend support line (making a higher swing low)
2) Very bullish bar (Outside bar with strong bull close)
3) Daily CCI(20) Oversold

The dissapointment coupled with holiday trading. However I feel that long term everyone will restart or increase QE
