Got it thank you. The background is green the candlesticks are there but there is no orange boxes or anything else. I put it as template loaded as template and that is all I see. I can't seem to find the preferences because it is not under the indicators.

If it is not on the Indicators list, then it is not on the chart!
You just have what you saved in the template.

Put the PTECZ_Trader on the chart and input the Pass_Code.


Then, work with the inputs.


This thread is not a course of how to use the MT4 platform!

Read the MT4 manual, learn to use your platform, first.

Thanks !! ... very intuitive indeed ... the drag and drop function in Metatrader is very practical !
I am still on the Sim , as I have nver used Metatrder before , I am a long term Ninjatrader user , but trying to make the switch ...

Look if you have nerves problem go see a doctor. "Don't push me further", you are not my mentor or anything like that and you do not have skills to be a mentor or teacher or even trying to help other traders because you do not have what it takes to be a mentor you are not patient, and you definitely have nerve problems. As far as I can see, you do not know better then any of us here because otherwise you would not be on this website and learning. The way I see it, a lot us probably have more trading knowledge then you do. This thread is just about you showing your system that you created. The way you explained price action you can find it anywhere online which I did long time ago I just thought you have something special to explain but you don't. A lot of us know about the price action. I just want it to see how your system works. The way I see it, it's useless. You can trade price action with candlesticks itself. So your system is not good you should only use it for yourself. There are other threads that I am following and they seem 100 times more helpful then you are. You are not that good of a trader because if you were, you wouldn't be here. There are no stupid questions you created a thread and you should expect a lot of questions. I know about indicators and templates just wasn't sure how to use your useless system. But it is proven now that it is useless. If you have nerve problems go see a doctor they may help you. If you cannot stand a lot of questions, then you should close your useless thread.

Why do I say all these words to you?

I have never asked anybody any stupid questions about the MT4 platform.
I downloaded the Manual and started learing.
What I did not read, I learend by reading it on the internet.
I do not ask stupid, simple, basic questions on any thread or forum.
I once asked for help on one forum, because I was so frustrated of losing money, and I got it!
All the rest, I searched on the internet myself!

Then, I did a lot of brainstorming with another technical Trader.
We did not ask stupid questions, we exchanged charts, MQL knowledge and ideas!

I can only help those who want my help.

Yes, I am repeating myself!

If you came to this thread to take my method, I help.

If you came here to get also some character training, I help.

If you are a cry-baby and my words cause drama in you,

It was still before London session Time.
A very well waited out Entry with retrace Trend confirmation.

I feel I should use another trading system. This one does not work well for me. No clear entry/exit signals, and to many false movements/retraces. There are more simple PA systems that give better results.

It is useless because Trader2000 does not have the abilities required to use this system.
He can not operate the MT4 platform, he does not know how to use Indicators
and how to set them up on the charts.
Thus, my Indicators are usless to him.
How can he use the PTECZ_Trader if he can not use MT4?
And, what were his earlier words about "loving the method" worth,
if he was never even able to use it?
If he was never able to use it, maybe he expected the PTECZ_Trader to Trade for him?

Welcome Trader2000.
In the begining, I must remind you:
1. How can you even think of starting to learn the system, if you don't know the MT4? 2. How can you suggest the owner of the system that he doesn't know how to teach when he is not a teacher and he is sharing his knowledge for free?
3. On what basis do you tell somebody to see a doctor, if you are not a doctor, yourself? Are you the one who knows everything?
4. Remeber everybody, we are on this thread of our own will!!! So, we must keep up the proper level!
5. If leading the Thread, inventing the whole system, sharing the knowledge, answering tens of emails and posts is that simple, then go ahead, start your own Threads, invent your own systems, and I will gladly read them with the basic abilities to work MT4.
Ending my post, I wish to give my Regards to Everybody and also wish Patience for us and Dadas.

I think you are looking for a system which will Trade for you.
Such a system does not exist!
You can not Master any system in 2-3 days!
You need 2-3 years to do that!
If you do not have much experience at Trading, you need it.
The signals are on the charts, it is Price Action.
There is no Price Action indicator!
The Price Action Indicator is the chart!
The PTECZ Trader is only the helping Tool, it does not Trade for you.

Please, continue your search of the Holy Grail.
Come back, when and if you need the real thing, not illusions!

Everytime I enter a trade my SL gets hit. I feel like I'm wasting my time learning this instead of another PA system.

You have not posted a single analysis.
You have not posted a single Trade.
You are not learning.
You are shooting blindfolded.
It is not about learning to plot PTECZs.
That is only the begining.

If you feel you are wasting time, no problem, go and waste more time.
Go, take another method, waste time.
Waste 2-3-5 years, maybe you will understand, then!

Stop wasting the time, start using it effectively.
Do the analysis, post it.

BTW.
There are no other PA systems!
PA is just what it is - it is Price Action.
You do not need anything to read Price Action, only the chart.
The rest is just help.
My PTECZ idea is only the visualisation system.
It helps me and others to read Price Action, to find the Frame of Refference.

But, ultimatelly, Price Action is what counts first!

If you can not read Price Action, no system will help you!
