First trade of the year and the market gives me a pin bar against my position to deal with. I tightened my short entry from where it belonged and got caught by my aggression. This is something I do over and over. At this time though it has not closed inside my level line so I am still good. Just have to sweat out the first hiccup. No big deal.

Closed this trade for +9 with a pin bar after the Toyko open and the market not breaking though a area of resistance I am taking a profit.

I went short on the Euro just before the news. It was a shot - of course price hit my entry and then closed inside my level line - so I got out with a -12. I was not as aggressive with this close as I like to be. The problem with having traded a news candle "UNCERTAINTY" Reset my orders at 4410 short and 4456 long I am looking to go long at 4441. This would be my one inside the bracket trade that I take as a test of the market. In truth the market right now doesn't feel clean to me. One of the aspects I dislike about the new york market and what I need to change my thought process about.

Well my short at 4410 was hit. So cancelled my long order and will play the short since that is what the market gave me.

Closed it for a -7. I called it a 123D which means I use a very aggressive close - priced closed on my level line and when it broke through it I bailed. This was a better trade - the first trade of the morning was a news trade and I know better. So I am kicking myself for the poor play and not the loss - that is progress from a mental capital point of view. The self anger is for the poor play. I have a renetry at 4408 - this is one of those times I will use a reentry in the direction of my last entry because price has not closed on the other side of the 50% fibo retrace. If it does then I will move my entry down to 4398.

My long at 4455 was hit - I may be in for the chop monster this morning. After the move during the london session I would not be surprised - this is my last trade for the day so I again will be agressive on the exit since it is a 123D trade.

oh well - I am in one more trade - this is one that I am working on - I call it the FOR trade. Still working out the Parameters - basically it's a Fake Out Reversal. I am short at 4433 3 off the low of the FO Candle. Since I am still working on this set up - It will take me awhile to get comfortable with it. I took 5 pips profit - I am not sure about a runner since price is going back into the chop monster.

Today I have messed around and got caught in the chop monster during NY - so whats new.

What I have to train myself to do is to make the market take me out not do it myself. On my last trade the market taking me out would have been a 2g+ exit or a #1 instead of me closing out of fear.

I am now short at 4417 off 123S because of the time this will be my last trade have a very tight stop and expectation of a move to retest 4400.

closed at +1 never made a run and my day ends now.

Well that was pretty quick. Long on the Aud at 9133 and out at 9150. Entry was pretty straight forward BB break - exit was experience - a 10 pip wick in the asian market on ths pair is rather large. Of course if FX see this post I am dead meat. What is more important is what I do from here.

My orders are in place - 4405 short and 4435 long - both are inside the larger bracket so I intend to be aggressive on my exits if they twitch the wrong way. My first trade of the day was a long at 4428 which I got out at BE when price failed to break 4433 on the second attempt. I am patting myself on the back for getting out - stopped meself from living in hope.

my 4405 short was triggered am out with +11 - 2 bounces off the previous low was enough for me.

My renetry at 4383 was trigger - Lets see if we get a run or not. I hate when price hits my entry and then retraces. Oh well that is the game. this is 123 D entry so I will be very agressive on the exit. Out at -7

Trades during the Asian Market. Short the Yen for a couple and long the Aud for a couple. Pretty quiet evening. the yen is a new pair for me to trade so I am watching more than I am trading. What I am seeing is that the pair doesn't matter that much. the trades are really the same. That is what I really like about the 5 min chart support and resistance set ups for trading. For me the key is to keep in my mind that on any trade I am testing the market to see if I can be at the beginning of a swing.

Now I will stop and if I am up trade the London market if not then the New York in the morning.

Ok after the news my long at 4371 was triggered - This is a 123S entry so will use a #1 exit for my stop loss.

Got out with a -7 when price didn't break the high - fook a short off a FOR entry for 2 when price didn't have momentum.

Now I am sitting back and reevaluating what I am doing and what I am going to do. 2 quick trades like that is a sign that I am not confident in my actions.

After evaluating I am back in with a short at 4350 on the Eur. This is a 123S set up within the larger swing so I am being aggressive and will play a 2G+ stop if need be. I could be inside the chop monster so I have to pay close attention Price action and cut my losses short and hopefully find the bus soon enough. Out at a -6. The risk of playing inside the latest swing.

Ok I have a short at 4309 on the Euro - I will play this as a 123S off the swing from 4312 to 4351. I look forward to price just going through my entry and moving on instead of touching my entry and retracing. All Well.

Last night during one of my first trade, my platform crashed causing me all sorts of angst - fortunately my stop was in place because it was hit. Though I didn't get out where I would have the damage was minimal.

Arghhhhh - I am done for the week - done for the year - done for the next decade. During the last couple of days I forgot about what works and worked on what doesn't work. This business is too easy for me to get into guessing, hoping, analyzing, and what ever else was going for me the last couple of days. I am disheartened at the moment and feel like I can't honor my no.

A master says no more often than yes. I am pulling the trigger on my no's and not pulling the trigger on my yeses. This is what is most frustrating for me at the moment. Thinking instead of just doing. How do I get my mind out of my way? I can sit here and think about it but how do I actually do it in the heat of battle? I hate the battle and yet that is what I am doing - I am fighting with the market. Ouch. Soul searching will not save the day - I need to find a way to be accountable for my actions.

I am pretending that I know what I am doing and I don't based on results. This is not about beating myself up - it is about learning. This is my quiet time and reflection and I am in trading shock. The truth is that I am only one trade away from success and that trade is being ellusive as I sabotage myself and erode my confidence by not following my plan exactly. I have bought into the concept the market is always moving so I have a 50 50 chance of success instead of adhering to my plan so that I am putting the odds in my favor and not running around like a scared chicken.

Time to stop and be greatful for what I do have - grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in my financial like, grateful for the support, grateful for a plan that works, grateful for a business in this day and age that is growing, grateful for doing something that I love. Grateful that I still love life and all that being alive means to me. oh yes we are definately cooking now. I have this movie scene stuck in my head and I am not remembering the movie. Oh well since I am not getting it up into a place of rememberence time to stop and let my mind settle down.

I just completed my first trade of the london market - a FO - for -7 using the 2G+ exit. I now have orders long at 4518 and short at 4485 which was my previous short. Part of the 2G+ strategy is reenter incase it is a double fake out. The hardest part of the renter is where to put it. In this I am putting it right back where it was the first time instead of at the low of the FO Candle - a little agressive on my part and that is how I trade.

I had hoped when price broke 4474 that I would bet a nice run since that has been support for several days - oh well -9 for the test is not bad. Got out because price broke up and tested that level a couple of times - can always get back in.

Ok my orders are set long 4414 short 4395. With the euro in such a tight range for the day I can only hope that london wakes up and moves the market someplace esle besides the 4400 level.

Sedona, did you have me banned from the SSBO thread? I am not able to post there anymore. You appeared to be rather annoyed with me.
If you had anything to do with this, I would appreciate a second chance.
