Is that always the case? How accurate would you say that price play is, mor often than not?

If it is an ending diagonal the 5th wave is always the shortest and usually briefly above the wave 3 top.

Look at wave 1 and 2, they rises in 3 waves where wave 1 and 2 have almost equal length.

Testing the Merlin Breakout:

Current 3084.

Given previous day closed @84, Midnight sees open @ 84, if 5M and 15M create no lower low beyond 76.8, then it's an UP day.

For safety, I won't look at taking a trade until 7am GMT. Risk is that Asian session creates a ADR move and then London session is flat. Favourable risk is that Asia only does 60-70 pip move, retests the lows to make a final push into 3110 for possible top. Will need to see 4H and 1H together to decide tomorrow at 7am, however I'm biased long.

I see that. Is there a reason why your W1 begins where it is and not earlier?
How do you reconcile your 15M vs Higher TF?

Wave 1 started at the 2968 low and rised in 3 waves. Wave3 is shorter which is the rule.

Higher timeframes is worth noting divergences. In case this ED pans out, it does not mean a trendchange, but the end of this upleg at the least.
