Just to post one guy's trade explorer here..

He is doing averaging down with just MM in LIVE. He probably need some time to get back to profit if capital is enough. This is really not a good choice.

Even if it is less risky than martingaling, the same important factor is the capital.

if not just stop out few positions .. 1% lose per position is big enough..

No. Averaging down isn't hedging. As you can see in the trade explorer, positions are in the same direction. The DD is normal and the goal is generally to make the BE threshold to move down with the price until the retrace occur.
