The grey lines are what he calls 'price history' lines.

Basically to highlight where price has previously flipped from support to resistance but not necessarily supply or demand.

No from speaking with Ken he's getting in as close to the source as he can with scalping. Anyway, my day is done on EU... took a couple of late losses on the chin but bagged 150 pips for the day.

Interesting to note that the market reacts 2 mins before the supposed news release time. FF news times are bull shit. If it's public it's bull shit. Good enough reason to ignore the news and on decent levels just get your limit order in to make sure you get a fill. Sometimes waiting for a 1 min reaction at SD levels around news times just does not cut it.

Hi C-12,

Can you please help with following questions :


1. How do you use the USDX. Is it more to identify whether the USD is ranging or trending or do you use it to match up with s/d zones on your preferred trading pair ?


2. Seen you mention that you look at how price 'approaches and reacts at s/d zones' prior to making your decision whether to take a trade or not. Can you please share any insights for us newbies ?

Agreed and Talking Forex announced the data at 08:58 GMT.

However, the lower high after the London Open was a nice opportunity to get short and hope that my SL didnt get too much slippage if the data was good....

Yes the pull back gave a great opportunity into 5min supply and ample time to get in on the M1 before the 8.28 news release.

Not much scalping going on really, just holding an EU short. Did grab this earlier on EJ.

I did take a long at that demand and got stopped out for some.
