My blue c I think is an A or 1. I put a 1h chart.I want to see down move.

I am still unsure about degree and time. What I mean is: your red and green labels are larger degrees and the first green A unfolds relatively quickly in relation to the green B which contains a complex structure (double zigzag) and unfolds over a day or two. Does this fit with EW principle? I don't understand this well, so I am asking?

I am going to comment although I am not an expert and ask basic questions elsewhere in this same thread. Other members are welcome to correct me if I am wrong.

Your labeling is, imo, very good, but you overlook the rule of alternation. This is a mistake I am also prone to making:

Look at your orange i->ii and ii->iv corrections. Can you see that they are similar in pattern? Same with purple i->ii and ii->iv corrections. Wave 2 and wave 4 have to alternate: simple/complex or vice versa. When you have similar patterns it is a clue that your count is wrong.

A correct count, in my and Tim's, opinions is a double zigzag - two zigzags separated by a zigzag. If you put a MACD indicator on that chart you will notice two MACD extremes. A single impulse has a noticably large MACD reading at wave 3 (of 3). Applied to your chart you will see two equally sized MACD "mountains" - these are at the respective 3rd waves of the 2 impulses. Subsequently, applying this count would see an X wave from b of purple iv to 5 of purple iv.

The next issue is with the internal structure of each of the 2 divisions this X wave creates. Are they two impulses or two flat (3-5-3) structures? i.e. is orange i an impulse or a 3w structure better labeled as "a" ?

Just my 2 cents while I waited for the GBP news non-event to restart trade

I attempted a position following the yellow PA but exited with no joy - been focusing on XAG, EJ and EG.

Do you know a good source where I can read about MACD usage in the context of EW counting?

BTW, zigzags suite better indeed.

MACD: there was a good article in the FF news section last week - search for MACD. Also elliottwave.com have a few (maybe 3) good articles which I originally found via a google search something like this: "elliott wave MACD"

Default MACD settings are OK but i prefer it faster for intraday indications. try 3, 13, 8

Probable 5w complete for Cable and corrective now, (although there is not a lot of strength about for it right now);

Hourly trend channel touch coinciding with the 50% ext projection. Wave 3 hitting 261.8% of wave 1;

and breaking down waves 4&5 on the 2min, the 5th also hits its own 61.8% projection simultaneously;
