In a nutshell - The analysis indicates most traders lose when they trade between 10am-6pm GMT - analysis based on 12 million trades. BUT.... even more interesting is the bit where they show the SSI - sentiment index which shows their client positioning. The guy seemed to advocate taking a contrarian position to retail traders - effectively betting against retail positioning. So in the EURUSD context the contrarian position is long as most retail bods are short. I wonder how many institutions do exactly the same thing - hoover all the money off the little guys by continually pushing the market through stop zones. They can access retail positioning easily. Makes you wonder on the logic of conventional PA analysis and also how even the playing field really is.....

Institutional traders don't care about sheep, they are the market creators, they are responsible for candles we are looking at so....

I understand mate! there is really uncertainty in the market, maybe it want 1.3610 b4 retracement.

The is a false logic : You can't calculate all retail traders as one , as the notion of majority of retailers making profit would bring brokers to bankruptcy as the institutional traders as no one will take the opposite trades ... They lose money and they lose big amounts ! No one can beat this market consistantly - NO ONE

Partially agree Vachus, there are however institutional traders which constantly make money since they do not bet on a direction but only trade. Bid/ask spread is there to allow for constant profits. If you are a counterparty for buyers and sellers you buy cheap, sell expensive or vice versa. Money is a commodity too just like any tangible asset.
