I would say EUR = 0

USD = 0

So, should at least trade at parity?

The US now is going to be the top oil producer by 2020. IMO 1 EUR = 0.5 USD is the maximum value it deserves.

Go all the way back that you can. Then, from there, I can see the DXY going up to 100. Maybe even 140! But that'll take decades.

That is O.K. As long as the Euro < the USD, I am fine with that slow progress.

looks like that bullish Gartley is a winner..

it can go either way, up to 1.062 and complete bat pattern
or down to 1.05 and complete AB=CD

if it goes down to 1.05, bat pattern will become invalid.

same when it goes up, ab=cd becomes invalid

This is what I would do. Keep 50% of your order at the level you prefer. Place the other 50% 3 to 5 pips off the level.

Building products maker Boral is cutting 700 jobs as part of a company-wide restructure aimed at reducing costs and increasing its competitiveness.
The company says it will make 700 redundancies from all levels of its business - from executive level down to its manufacturing businesses.


"The restructure I am announcing today will transform the group into an organisation that is more responsive to the realities of a cyclical marketplace and one that remains competitive not just during the cycle highs but when conditions are challenging, as they have been for the past few years," chief executive Mike Kane said in a statement on Wednesday.
