Subscribing to your thread mfoste1. This looks interesting. I've never gotten into algorithmic trading before but I'm always on the lookout for a thread to follow. I'm interested to see how you utilize the data you gather. Also, it's unique! You don't see too many folks around here coding systems for TSII.

Due to the high number of requests for the components of this system, I need to filter out some things. I have given the system to a number of people already, but I am highly suspicious that they are not a good fit, nor are they looking to join our group or help contribute. I do not want this system out there for the masses. I want to provide it for a small group of traders in the Forex Factory community who have good intentions(want to share ideas and better the group). I want to show a little bit more on the flexibility of this system. In addition to the trend following characteristic, you can also use it as a mean reversion. This capability is a bit more risky so you would want to risk less on these types of trades.
Here is what the 8H chart looks like. So price is still trending above HMA, however there is some hidden weakness. So say we want to take some profit, or enter short.
So here is our current position on EURUSD . We are long from NYL algo yesterday morning and say we are looking to cover a partial portion of our position before our limit gets hit. For example, let's say we want to offer out half with the LL algo. We want to turn on the LL algo to sell whatever half of our long position is. Note this method works only for non-hedging accounts.

Shorty after the market opened, there were a few good signals on GBPUSD, EURUSD, EURGBP longs. Price is clearly trending above and finding support near our dynamic/trend support indicators (150HMA, 46 EMA). DSS well oversold and about to shift momentum, and TDI near 50. This is a pretty solid setup, like the ones I am talking about. I've moved my stops to even on both of these trades. This system is really simple, easy to use and stress free once you get the hang of it.

My EURUSD and GBPUSD longs were taken out flat. EURGBP longs were the only positions to survive. These are illiquid conditions and the markets aren't moving too much and probably won't until the new year.

AUDUSD is coming off quite a bit from the highs. This provides a good example for trade opportunity. Since it is clearly trending down, we should wait for a safe, high probable short setup. Any retracement that shows near overbought on the DSS and near 50 on the TDI and price < the dynamic moving averages, we should look to turn on the algos to start shorting. As I stated before in the introduction, this is not meant to be a day trading or intraday system. We might have to wait for 2 or 3 days for a high probability setup to materialize.
What I generally like to do with pairs that are in a very strong trend is use all the algos and start to build a net position after I get a good sell signal. To trade this type of market condition, I would have to change the parameter settings on my execution algos. I have optimized settings for this market condition as well as the standard trending. I can provide this to anyone interested.

Thanks. Hopefully some traders interested in the system will start posting setups with the system in here as well. I am planning on making some videos that will help clarify CLF a bit. I know it can look a bit complicated, but once you get in the flow of things, it's ridiculously easy with low stress and you can trade just about every pair(with a decent spread).Trading is best done with a strategy that fits your personality well. I could say this system fits my ISTJ personality very well. Combined with good risk management, its tough to loose using CLF if you are disciplined.

GBPUSD broke below the dynamic MAs and DSS is showing an ugly shape well over sold. This is usually a good signal that the trend is changing. You might be saying, well shouldn't we have been going long? Yes, last week I was long bias this pair, however, on Sunday night it did break below dynamic support so I would cancel my long bias and wait patiently for the good short setup.

There was a long setup on EURUSD this morning, as price is still trending up, above the MAs. You can see the momentum shift coming on the DSS and it is good if you can get the shapes down solid because it essentially allows you to front run price and anticipate a bounce.

Now on AUDUSD, we get a similar setup, however price is trending down, below the MAs, so we should avoid longs at the moment. But you may wondering why we are buying EURUSD, and not AUDUSD. The answer is this: By following the system rules, it automatically filters out buying the weak currencies and focuses on selling them. Vice versa, it attempts to buy the stronger currencies, in this case EURUSD, which is clearly much stronger than AUDUSD right now. So we are only buying stronger currencies and selling weaker ones. This adds to the edge.
