Still in my long from 78.10, opening up another lot and buying on a retest of 80:60-50 level.

FINALLY above 80:50 tho, jeez, that took forever!

Just a funny observation: when a new government is built, the stock market crashes like hell (see US, China); when an old government is dissolving, the stock market rises like crazy (see Japan). Next time, the government/BOJ can't do anything about a strong yen, they should just dissolve the government, which is quite an usual business in Japan anyway.

I will take any decent pullback to go long.

Fail to break 81.50 could mean consolidation with downside bias.

Sell to 80.306 and watch for a long consolidation period before going long again.

Daily Charts indicate for an Uprise.. 83 is the target level..

I doubt that, cause on Friday, just before the closing of the market,
You might have seen there was a pull back on USDJPY, some news were circulating, as well technical correction.
If we see the Daily Bar closing, it was high than the previous.

However, thats how market run i think slight bullish, you think little pull back.
In the end, we both need to be careful with money management, some trades give loss, some profit..

I am currently long from 81.00 and 81.11 - Lets see how it goes

From Scotiabank analysis:

" (...) the recent rally in USDJPY has occurred despite support from a key driver, the spread between US-JN 2 year gov’t bonds (see bottom chart on p1). As such, further gains in USDJPY may be a challenge in the absence of support from yield spreads".

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - “Despite the efforts of Japanese policy-makers to create negative market psychology with respect to the yen,” says Senior FX Strategist at Rabobank Jane Foley, “it remains a favoured safe haven currency,” the analyst notes, expanding: “Given the sudden increase in Middle Eastern tensions this week, ongoing concerns surrounding the fiscal cliff in the US and the possibility of more QE from the Fed, weak economic data in the Eurozone and the potential for a return of tensions surrounding either Greece or Spain we would expect the yen to be trading at firmer levels in the USD/JPY79.00 region by the end of this year,” Mr Foley adds.

He is correct, but first it needs to go upside at 83 levels..

Not really, where the pair is right now is a strong resistance zone. 83 would be the next level, but I don´t see signs of breaking the actual zone.
