Only been ranging for a week or so Nav. It's already done about 700 pips one way. That's hardly "slow"!

hey guys.... sharing what i see.

Cable
basically we are not goin up, nor going down. the top being 6265 and the bottom being kinda an area 6130 something.. we are playing around there. i know we formed a LL with the close of the last day-week-month, but really looking at it we didnt have a CLOSE under the previous low. On the higher TFS we have on a daily sort of widening triangle, which by technical analysis is the same to say that the moon is in jupiter and mars is banging venus, on a weekly base we have a full formed reversal bearish pattern that comes at the end of almost 10 figures rally and right under a SR area (6265). The monthly anyway is still bullish and has the potential to get to 64. So we have rather different charts... one screaming short, another one, superior, suggesting long. ATM price is stuck between weekly and monthly pivot, in other words... i am not going to trade cable unless i go for a few pips here and there, unless we pick a side, or just trading the range between these 2 levels. i might try to get a small short in area 6180 (if we get there) playing the WP, DP and the 50% retracement of the last downmovement aiming for 50-60 pips. When and if i get there i will see how i like it.

EURO

as for euro... things are basically not too much different. Price is NOW 2862, which means we are between WP and MP which mean that graphically we are in nowhere land. Euro seems to be a little confused between funnimental and graphic displacement. If in fact in the last week we had at least 2 bullish pattern formed on the lower tfs (both bullflags and both triggered), right after that we go down testing the previous low. THAt was the reason why i got pissed the last week. the daily is nothing but bullish... as we are just in a retracement phase agter 12 figures rally (so roughly 4 figures retracement is not much really), what puzzled me before was that the area right before 1.30 was passed in a blink, and that area always wanted his respects (getting some now). I am anyway surprised we didnt get to test 3280 area, which is the next SR on my charts after 1.30. On a weekly bases, have a look at the chart, that explain more than many words...
On the monthly bases... all i can say is that historically, whenever euro failed to close over 1.30, it retested 1.25 (all the times, except once, in 2010, whe the month closed over 1.30 and ANYWAY it went to 1.25).

saying that.. i have no clues where they will go... so on a more practical meaning, i have just to wait and see, will probably trade for a few pips here and there, without too much of longs trades.

P.S. i'd like to know what means "to be royally pissed" .... ive been thinking about this, but really couldnt grasp the deep meaning of it

I don't think that UTL is set up right bro. Second point should be the high of 8/14/11 me thinks. But even so, 6165 is the line in the sand for me. But then, you know how different feeds look too. On mine, last week closed clearly below that TL.
