I'm agreeing with you. 8 lots on any bet is a big risk. I'm a know trader and keen to know what does it take to make a good trader? The ability to analyse the indicators? Frequent practice and beting in small sizes to safe against big unaffortable loses? Reading more about forex trading? What does it take? I believe I can make good money out of this and believe in myself too. but this can only happen if i invest my time in the write things. 
I assume this is demo account? I see you are new trader, playing with 8 standard lots as a new trader will probably quickly empty your account...

Price bounced very nicely from the 2 Trendlines, it's the morning hours and we are currently over 125.5 already. I hope this will continue up and we finally get rid of this annoying 125.5

This could be potentially very dramatic. Not only can Chinese stop buying Japanese products but Chinese can stop selling rare metals to Japan hurting their electronic industry to extreme. Would the strength of the yen drop then?

So thats whats happening! I'm in deep trouble right now. I still believe the JPY will recover somewhere btween 09h00 and 11h30. My worry though is will I still be around at that time judging from the quickness its drying my account
If it is any comfort to you, my equity 3 weeks ago was around 1700 USD (up from 158 USD), I am down to 200 now, slowly climbing. Crap. There were about 10 people on the forum claiming price will drop, drop, drop, so I took a f*** short. I have to stop reading forums

One of my investment books (omar bassal: swing trading for dummies) says that cup-and-handle formations must be preceded by an uptrend, because they’re a continuation formation, a pattern that indicates the continuation of a trend. Mr Bassal says you´re probably right about the accumulation phase though.
there's no such thing as "must" in trading in my book. it's entirely up to the market.
