Fxpro ECN decreased spread to 0.3 pips however raised commissions on each trade, therefore it kindda stay the same the charge for each lot.

Newbie attraction tactics I must say.

Anyone trading accounts over 25k and making weekly withdrawals? How do you find them? I have been looking for ECN in Australia and so far they seem the best. Pepperstone looks ok also however they only offer MT4. I like the C Trader platform but the demo will undoubtedly be different from live accounts. Any comments to help me decide?

I had the same problem in the last weeks...hard slippage and requote, 4/5 times per week!
I don't know what's happening, I'm using Fxpro since 3 years and never had this kind of problems...if it continue in this way I will change my broker...

ROFL, Smalfi, you didn't understand correctly, CapitalGain got EXTRA pips in his FAVOR. The requote was in his FAVOR! This happened to me this week also, I experienced one requote of about 2 pips and it was in my FAVOR. I was stuned and shocked. The requote doesn't automatically mean you are filled with the worse price, but can also mean you are getting a better fill, something we are not used to . I guess this has something to do with the FxPro's policy/model changes...

One interesting thing I found when I was at FXPro was that prices would be reached before the candles would paint on the chart. There was a deliberate in-built lag of a couple of seconds.

I had an indicator set to ring by price: every time it would ring (price would be hit) before the candle would paint. If you were going visually by the candles painting on the chart, you would be late by a few seconds every time. The price had already been hit.

from russian forum(translated by google)

There is little reliable information about FXpro. My good friend works as a sysadmin in the Moscow office.
So his words spark dealing specifically drawing department is not involved (95% of traders, and so drained his custody, according to him), lots of small listed on the machine, but with a certain amount is transferred to the handbrake ( ie in the active clock enter the market problem), from which it is the volume, he does not know, problems with communication are taking place, as in Moscow, only one server, the rest of Cyprus, the same place where dealing.

my translation

there is a little trustful information about fxpro
My good friend works as a sysadmin in the Moscow office.
so.........in his words
dealing department does not "draw" the candles intentionally
(95% of traders lose their deposits on their own by his stasistics)
small lots are quoted automatically
but since certain volume orders are kept by "hand-steering" method
(i.e. it is a problem to enter market in periods of active trading)
he does not know since what volume precisely
the problems with communication (connectivity) happen to take place, so as there is only one server in Moscow, the rest of Cyprus, the same place where the dealing itself is.
-------------------

one can make only one inference.........

95% of forex traders will be losers on their own!(no matter what)
the rest will be "helped" to lose.........
would you like knowingly in advance to belong to this majority of- say- 99% of losing forex traders?

would not it be better to quit forex and trade indexes-stocks-futures instead?
(losing percentage is lower anyway.........probably around 70%)

remember recent "dot-com bubble"times?

surely some time later these days will be remembered as "forex bubble"!

The previous post is not correct.

The FxPro Moscow Rep. Office only has IT specialist who have no access to trade operations of FxPro clients and to trade servers (server-side code). So we are not engaged in the dealing operations.

Τhe Firm does not use the Virtual Dealer Plug-In. FxPro adheres to the principles set by the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (‘MiFID’) which requires firms, including FxPro, to take all reasonable steps to obtain the best possible result in the execution of an order for a client.

Also please note that FxPro acts as an agent and not as a market maker in both cTrader and MT4 trading environments.
