still haven't really seen too many good reasons relating to people promoting the upside. this up move was created the same way the last portion of the down one was... speed... we moved from 1.2515 or so straight to 1.24ish... once down there, there was nothing to down except go up. friday, we went up so fast that well... and people saying there will be a decent change in the COT report - well if they had a stop in - they're probably right back in 100-150+ points higher now which is what this move generated since i really haven't heard anyone else being compelled by the news thus far. has anyone?

there's quite a few opinions providing valid support to the down side. haven't seen any super valid for the up, but 1.2550-70 seems reasonable... where it goes from there we'll have to wait and see. i'm starting to become of the opinion we haven't seen a full down movement

Thanks for suggesting the article. While the article was quite interesting, I don't feel like it left you with anything to use, analysis wise.

I placed the Gann oscillators on a E/U charts ( multiple timeframes) and they appeared to lag in following the trends. Out of curiousity, have you been able to use the Law of Vibration/Gann theories in your analysis of the markets?

I don't use any of the oscillators or any indicators, since they lag when I draw up my charts. And yes, this whole Law of Vibration thing is what I'm currently observing and taking notes on when I look at the long term outlook on the market.

Dear Robert DeCuir,

The greatest lesson left by Gann is that there is something on the market that when you know changes everything. I don't use his tools but i have an idea about how to use the law of vibration on trading...

no doubt the coming week will be a tough one. i will stay bullish unless 4H closes below 1.2550 - %50 of this week's high. first target 1.2750.
anything below 1.2415 locks all doors for bulls, and one can expect 250 pips drop from that on.

to be exact, 1.2745 is the resistance, +-5 pips accuracy. and yes, if 1.2750 holds another 200 pips is within reach. if this up move is for real, support of 1.2630 should hold strongly.
