Could someone tell me what settings I'd need to put into the latest EA in order to replicate the rules in Post 1, using a 4 digit broker? Just can't get it to open trades

intraday chart using a Standard demo account with Admiral. the feed seems a bit strange - price gapping all over the place. Nonetheless, a quick manual backtest today shows some nice trades.

Sorry wrong lot size calculation after I account for spread and use Ctrl+H and put another variable that mess position size calculator. This one should fix this.

We couldn't do anything about requotes and delays, but for TP we could use hidden TP. We just don't set tp but when it is reached the EA will send close order request. In theory the one attached will work on any 4,5, or 6 digit broker if you put the right option.

@Trumpcard: I put Trumpcard version as option to automaticly set TF to 5, turn off trailing stop and other filters&features, EA will only follow inside bar direction, and use hidden TP(3 pips exclude spread) and SL(high/low with max 9pips include spread). Seems that i catch a flu, my nose is running and I felt that world spin a bit too fast these past 2 days. When I am in a better condition, I will spin off your version as dedicated EA. For now just stick to the modified version of mine(now mine takes two IB behind just like yours). Btw, to use in your broker do not forget to set ECN=false, adjust server time to GMT, and the hours when the EA operates(from hour & to hour).

I set ServerTime = 0 by default which means EA will think your broker timezone is exactly at GMT+0, to adjust this just look here: www.forexmarkethours.com

Add:
- for your version MinAllowed_SLTP will be ignored as EA will use hidden tp and sl.
- I don't really catch what u mean by if the price goes 0.5 pips above or below the high or low. I mean 0,5 pips in 4 digit broker? In this EA if bid goes 1 pips above the high long trade will be opened and closed for tp if price goes 3 pips+spread. But I put if Bid>(High of IB + 0.5 pips) or Bid<(Low of IB + 0.5 pips) depend of the direction of the ib just in case anyone use this EA in a 5 digit broker.

I also use admiral market, I just notice that broker server is operating at GMT+0. It was GMT+1 several month ago.

dzhini: it was determined a few pages back that Admiral Markets has no minimum distance required for orders. I'm having problems with their demo accounts now. The Pro account won't allow any orders to be placed. The Standard Account's feed is really choppy.

Passerby - get better soon! I actually got the 2nd last version to make some trades yesterday, so getting somewhere! Are you sure about Admiral being GMT 0? I'd based my assumption of being +1 when comparing my charts to a GMT +2 broker recently!

I guess the 0.5 pips breakout rule applies to a 5 digit broker. eg: high 1.24400, enter at 1.24405.

passeby your EA work on an 1h chart. is it base on the current candle moveing passe previose low of the IB?

Inside bar trading is easy. Wait for trend . Take IB break in the direction of trend only.[attach]1382677

In this chart, should we only take the large white arrows? What are your targets and stops on these trades?

Just thought I'd throw in my two cents worth, suggest you use this when the market is wound up. Like the originator used to call the "hot hand". It makes sense... news = sharp move = pause/indecision = inside bar = new direction or continuation/confirmation = go with it... I usually find inside bars during other times are... opps i've said too much already hehe
