Yes, Frank, the black line is MA20, I don't use it, but another guy from my thread (Xabar77) says that if not only price is outside the bands, but also MA20 is outside the bands - that gives him much better entries (M1 and M5), and he is a very experienced trader, so some participants started using MA20 too.
Gentlemen always play by the rules. If they can't, they change the rules.

What do you think about Aussie dollar and S& P? I think this is a great buying opportunity for a 100-200 point rally in Aussie dollar. I would not be long tonight US Dollar atleast. ..

Frank,Alf is much better than MA to filter.Try,set MA Period=4.

A question for you about the use of the TMA Slope indicator, in the first post in this thread,

"Buy Only TMA (Above 0.51): Place ONLY Long trades. Sell Only TMA (Below -0.51): Place ONLY Short trades."

I too am long usdcad, and took 20 pips from a eurgbp long earlier. Both were contrary to the rule you state above, could you clarify this for me please?

I have been working a very similar strategy but yours is light years ahead of me, kudos, kudos, kudos! Yours is very natural since I'm familiar with the principals.

He put on M15 two TMAs, one with ATRMultiplier 1.2, another with ATRMultiplier 2.2.

He enters the trade using 1.2 ATRMultiplier and exits with 2.2 ATRMultiplier.

He says it gives him 50% more trades and all the trades are really good ones. He tested it for only a week, obviously it needs more tests. I didn't have time to check, he posted this tip today.

Does he go short at the upper 1.2 line and then target the lower 2.2 line? (given that the other rules are satisfied). And to go long he enters once the lower 1.2 line is breached and targets the upper 2.2 line?

Yes, exactly! He waits for the setups when price is above 1.2 TMA (for shorts) or below 1.2 TMA (for longs), he enters at the Heiken Ashi color's change and he exits at the opposite 2.2 band! He uses Supply/Demand indicator instead of the pivots indicator.

Yes - I've used supply and demand zones for years - only probable difference being is that I always use H4 zones even on an M15 chart.

I've set it up as you explained and will monitor progress.

I liked your system very much. I earned a bit money with your system but I didn't look MA cross bar; I looked Heken Ashi Bar colour change as the thirth condition.

Alf is adaptive Laguerre filter.This mod of indi has additional MA line(you should choose period MA) .When it crosses alf line up (blue point appears) and if PA is above alf you should be ready to go long.Try several TF(if alf TF M5 is above alf M15 and above alf H1 and
alf M15 is above alf H1- this is a very powerful setup to go long).
In combination with TMA MTF you ll be a real winner.As to semafor I use it analizing waves on H1,H4,D1( with big periods of ZZ) and determin main direction of trade on a couple of days ahead.
TMA MTF doing this job perfectly.Everything depends only on You and your taste.

When Slope is Ranging, you can trade both ways. M15 Slope is ranging.
