Wow! Terrible news ! Used to be 1,5% for deposits bellow $1000 and free of charge for deposits above $1000. I always sent over $1000 to run away from this fees.
If they keep this 3% fee for deposits, including for deposits above $1000, i have to move to another broker. I've been with Gomarktets for 8 months, i enjoy everything (spreads, trading conditions,customer servie), but deposits will be to expensives for me.
Took a couple of trades today to see if things improved, still ~2 pip slippage

I don´t entry/exit a trade so fast, i´m more like a position trader. i guess this is why i was the last one happy Anyway, i´m not happy with GoMarkets anymore... I´m also leaving. Which broker are you using now ?
Slippage for a market maker should not be occurring.... But it always does when it is in their interest.

To overcome slippage, place LIMIT orders, cause if slippage occurs it will be in your favour.

One thing about some of the USA based CFTC / NFA regulations is that bucketshops that regularly have slippage, should be having slippage that is in the client's favour as often as it is against the client. Proving this is another thing altogether.

In Australia they are yet to regulate that.

By placing limit orders as opposed to stop or market orders, you are beginning to recognise how the market behaves (i.e waves) and improve the potential Risk:Reward, which obviously helps makes traders profitable.

If you don't trade with them why the hell do you watch them and keep making stupid posts? Don't you have anything better to do with you time like trade with your new broker? I trade gold with go i don't have many issues but i find it anoying that people that don't trade with them keep throwing their 2 cents in.

wow this is interesting....seems people complain but they can't move .... I believe in a twisted way they enjoy the slippage....what a virtuous people ....if only my customers were like you guys ....I'm honored.

hi...i'm having tons of problems today, getting disconnected all the time, not being able to place trades...i've been waiting for an operator in their chat to help me for over 3 hours, and nothing yet...anybody else with same issues? up to now i've been reasonably happy with them, first time i've experienced these problems for such a lenght of time in 2 years.

The kind of people Market Makers dream about. They stoicly stay with a company that continually stabs them in the back and stomps on their toes with hobnail boots.
I known exactly that the fees are not their fault , it's reason why I'm still staying with them for a while , hope they will improve their service as Oanda and FXCM didn't charge fees on credit card deposit .
Gomarkets is one of best broker I have ever used , very fast support , deposit and withdraw are ultra fast too . The spread and excution speed are great ...the only thing we don't like is about fees in credit card 3%.
They have credited 10% bonus to my account as their apologize for this sudden fees change , so I understand and stay with them as they still have good support team that always care customer well .

That 10% bonus is not a form of apology to you, but it's simply a way of marketing to bring back more money and traders, which GoMarkets
has lost in recent months ... due to the stuff-ups like: increased spread, bad executions, slippages and frequent disconnection.
Some of you might not know about this info on Steve Hopwoods thread.

Metaquotes have changed the main logic behind Metatrader 4's programming language without notifying the developers, so any update since 416 -418 might cause EA,s and indicators not to work.

Those above issues has been reported in regards to MT4v416 and subsequently has been fixed already in the next update (last week) MT4v418
Personally I'm not experiencing now any problems with the EA's or indicators, which are using external DDL's ... as it was a case in previous version.

In fact I haven't been experienced these stuffs you told about , spreads , execution and connections are very great to me . I joined them 1.5 years ago and always get best spreads + fast execution , maybe I'm in Asia so I didn't get these issues . The most reason that made I like them is about deposit/withdraw speed , I tried many broker over years of trading like FXCM fxcast , fxopen , masterforex,liteforex,aaafx ,excess but gomarkets was broker that always process my withdrawal fast and didn't charge any fees on >1000$ deposit . Unfortunately , since they made some change on deposit fees so I will need to consider more about staying with them or not ...as others mentioned about , it's quite expensive ..
My country didn't support bankwire , if they do I will love to trade with dukcascopy , oanda too
had a delay in execution this morning trying to close a trade. had to restart the platform to get is to close. after restart trade closed in a millisecond.

not sure if my end or theirs, very annoying.

GoMarkets have emailed, now there is a 3 pip minimum distance for SL and TP.

Wonder if this will totally kill MDP lol.
