This is a version with the old school colours as default. Enjoy
If is not too much for you, can you add email alert to indi. If not, I can do it if you post mql version.

I think it's going slow because of your history. Try deleting you History folder in your MT4 folder (Back it up first though) then reopen MT4 and scroll back a few months to get fresh data, or re-download using the History tool.
The amount of history data one has on file should not affect normal chart performance. It is rather the amount of bars in the chart that affert performance. Reduce the max bars in chart to improve performance:
Menu->Tools->Options->Charts->Max Bars In Chart
One does not really need 65000 bars in the chart unless one does visual back-testing way back.

The backtester generates a data file which it uses to feed the strategy tester, so the history data available for the time-frame being tested is limited to a bit beyond the start start date. If your indicators are multi timeframe, some may work with the current chart history (bars in chart). Success here probably depends on the indicators and whether one has the charts open when doing the back-test. Note! One will be seeing data for the closed bars only.

Most brokers only offer a limited amount of history data, so deleting your data and scrolling back for new data only goes so far. Ie. you may lose your history for back-testing.

Re-downloading data usually gets the data from metaquotes, and not your broker so there will be differences. ie. you may lose your brokers data for back-testing.

If I'm doing Symphonie manual back testing correctly, I'm certain that this cocktail of indicators will soon be illegal.

I've just been testing 5m euro charts and some of these runs keep you in for well over 100 pips. One run was nearly 200.

Now comes the tough part; Should I get all different colored Teslas, Porches & Lamborghinis, or all the same color???

Who is going to make indicators illegals ? Man, these are very common indicators, don't fell in paranoia

(Forget my previous silly post, I'm new here and still learning, hopefully I'll learn fast).

Now I'm having problems with Symphonie setup in MT4.

What I did: 1) downloaded template + indikators, 2) downloaded signaler. 3)

After loading the template, I got 3, not 4 indicators (Extreme is missing). Also signaler is "black" when displaying Extreme.

I can add Extreme manually (as on screenshot), but is looks weird and signaler still doesn't use it.

What should I do?

The new 1.9 beta mini, probably uses another version of the extreme cycle. You have here4 differents version of the extreme signaler. Put the in the indicator folder. Probably will work

I more concerned that template loads just 3 indicators... closed markets shouldn't be an issue..?

I had to add it manually there and I'm not sure if it's working properly. Just after loading the template it looks like this:

@yelena please explain how u r using signaler1.9 to place your trades.
According t your explanations yelena, u use to 5min but enter in the direction of the 1hr and 4hr.
How to do tell wen it is time to enter the markets and your targets?
Anyone using signaler 1.9 please explain.

Please correct me if I'm wrong..
What yelena means is once 1hr and 4hr have all the same colors then you wait for 5m to have same co ours too. Once 5min have the same colors we enter trades.

In another words we enter trades once we see this 2 groups
a) 5m,1hr and 4hr all same colours or
B) 15m, 1hr and 4hr same colours.

Correct?

hello everyone,

I would like to know if it is possible to use the LFH simulator with the 1.9 signaler...so far it seems I can't.

I've successfully loaded my charts and template, but the signaler never fires any signal, actually it's "stuck", there is no change in the red/blue lights.

the matrix 1.7 is loaded on the same chart and it's working fine.

any thoughts?
